About this deal

Empire building is at the center of Saints Row, and it’s an interesting alternative take on the previous formula. Deep Silver Volition is releasing a day one patch that will hopefully resolve many of these problems, but I don't have faith that all the bugs and performance flaws I observed in the Saints Row reboot will be wiped away in time for launch. But through its consistently over-the-top gameplay and penchant for stupidity, Saints Row just about manages to get away with its brazen content padding. It’s a telltale sign that they’re filled with a comparably huge number of collectibles you’d only happen on by chance when driving around–and you will, inevitably, find yourself behind the wheel a lot. Fast travel points in Saints Row are unlocked by photographing landmarks, but they’re way too sparsely placed, meaning you’ll regularly teleport there and still need to run another 800 metres.

It still has its fun moments, niche appeal, third-person anarchy, and plenty to keep you distracted between missions, but this isn’t a reboot–it’s a reskin of a now-tired formula.awp69 they're mostly the opposite of everyone else with the scores these days, almost like Eurogamer.

There's also a good one about how one GTA Online player blames Easter eggs for running over a monkey. People’s criticisms included things such as the character designs, feeling that they lacked the charm and uniqueness of the previous titles in the series.Saints Row (2022) features the most in-depth customization of the franchise, a brand-new open world to explore, and a host of modern features and advancements to make the title more accessible and inclusive.

The first game is a blatant gta clone but if you only played the first game you wouldn't have a good impression of the series as a whole.Plus, frequent performance issues, poor camera controls and aim assist, and egregious draw distance flaws were constant reminders that Saints Row (2022) lacks the polish of the best Xbox games.

Resi32 This game's soundtrack is distinctly modern, as in the last few years modern, and a lot of it (in my opinion) is incredibly average. None of it’s to do with wokeness, though; it’s just a tired format for 2022, with uninspiring dialogue from restricted characters, repetitive missions, lackluster combat, endless driving, and its most underdeveloped storyline yet. You start proceedings in medias res, Fallout New Vegas style: you’re doing very well for yourself, partying like it’s 2019, but then you’re randomly attacked and kicked into a shallow grave. Most key plot points drop without much warning, and you're quickly ushered from one narrative beat to the next via snappy cutscenes. At the end of the day they're just a type of side job, but it definitely feels like there should be more to them. Despite some vocal outcry surrounding the game's visuals after its announcement, I'm happy that Deep Silver Volition avoided creating another boring photorealistic open-world game, instead opting for a style that feels more at home with the spirit of Saints Row. You play as the Boss, who you can customize with virtually no limits, and you’re joined by your three friends Neenah, Kevin, and Eli, who are by your side as you build your brand-new Saints empire. Missions, split between various sidequests, Loyalty Missions, and main story missions, offer narrative adventures, different scenarios, and plenty of rewards.
