Kirby was one of the names proposed by Nintendo of America when the development team asked for suggestions. It's mostly Animal Crossing: New Horizons - Deserted Island Diary, as you can see, but it's also got an excerpt from a Kirby series. He then steals Kirby's apple to get him to chase him, leading Kirby to a rope tied to a board with two objects to balance it out.

Super Mario-kun is scatological and zany to the point that, reading it, you might suppose that there are pages missing from your copy that explain the abundant non-sequiturs about Mario pooping or getting mutilated. There’s an entire chapter about Kirby and Dedede reenacting the American Revolution, and there’s a brief joke about Dedede getting arrested for pedophilia (it’s weird, but not nearly as weird as it sounds).

Here, he is a legendary Star Warrior destined to save the universe from the intergalactic conqueror known as Nightmare. King Dedede's selfish nature or greater forces controlling him often lead him to clash with Kirby, but he mostly teams up with Kirby when a greater threat emerges, that isn't controlling him. The majority of the games in the series are side-scrolling platformers with puzzle-solving and beat 'em up elements. He then flies up, going off the screen, and drops four small seeds that grow into four large, thorny vines that appear in the same spots the seeds fell in. After a series of battles against Kirby's toughest enemies, Marx Soul appears in a colorful but dark and distorted dimension as the final foe.

It’s a really fun read, but you should know going in, if you thought those Kirby feet memes were weird, well, this manga could really blow your mind. Aside from Kirby himself, the manga features many of the characters from the Kirby series of games, including Meta Knight, King Dedede, and many of the regular enemies and bosses from the games as well. Despite Marx's Japanese name translating closer to "Mark", the Japanese version of The Arena and Kirby Mass Attack renders it Marx.Viz Media originally had plans to localize Kirby of the Stars: The Story of Dedede Who Lives In Pupupu into English for North America in 2009, making an announcement about the series. His beach ball is striped with the colors of his hat: red, white, and blue, although artwork shows a yellow stripe on it. That right there, that feeling you have right now, is the whiplash you will experience when you begin to read Kirby Manga Mania or the series the chapters are sourced from, Hoshi no Kirby: Dedede de Pupupu na Monogatari.

Players 2–4 could choose to play as Meta Knight, King Dedede and/or Bandana Waddle Dee, each with dedicated abilities; they could also play as different-colored Kirbys which offered power copying abilities, or as a mixture of the options. Unlike most previous Kirby games, the player does not directly control Kirby with a directional pad, analog stick, face buttons, or shoulder buttons. Marx debuts in the Milky Way Wishes sub-game of Kirby Super Star and its remake as an integral character and final boss. Whenever he and Kirby fight, he will almost always offer Kirby a sword in advance so that the fight is fair.I’ve gotten a newfound appreciation for Dedede putting up with Kirby’s shenanigans at this point in the manga. on 4Kids TV, and was distributed by 4Kids Entertainment in North America and Nelvana Limited in Canada, with VHS and DVD distribution in North America by FUNimation Entertainment and DVD distribution in Australia by Magna Pacific. As Kirby, the spherical pink protagonist, the player must run, jump, and attack enemies while traversing a number of areas, solving puzzles, and battling bosses along the way. As far as plots go, I noticed that one has Dedede turned into a toy, another has Kirby pretend to be a toy, and a third takes place within a board game.
