The recent upgrade to the Nautical has added features, making it hold its own even against some of the more expensive SUPs out there. Atoll have even redesigned the backpack in response to some claims that the older version was poorly made. The straight design of the board allows you to use your paddle closer to your body which gives beginners more control of steering.However, even though the Cruiser and the Komodo are very similar, I found that the Gili Komodo actually glides better for someone of my weight, and it’s also easier to paddle. The board is extremely stiff and rigid, which will make you feel very secure on the water and will help with your confidence in the early stages. The board has 6 D-rings and 4 bungees, 3 grab handles and comes with a paddle holder – but it doesn’t come with a leash! This makes it easy to pick up, even if you’re on the smaller side (though a grab handle at the tail would have made this even easier). The Bote Breeze paddle board package is adequate – but I was disappointed to find that it doesn’t come with a leash!

This type of board can be used in multiple ways, for different activities and in different conditions.I found the board to be very stable, so it would be a good option for someone of my weight and size. Quality Carbon fiber paddle included: The Cruiser previously came with a fiberglass paddle but now you get a carbon fiber paddle which is awesome.
