On the face of it the records themselves look pretty shabby with a few scuff marks, but surprisingly they sound absolutely fantastic!

It is a celebration of a club era when anyone who felt like an outsider sought each other and formed a community of freedom-seekers to express themselves creatively through the rhythm, which we still celebrate today. Beautiful gatefold, the yellow of the records are bright and awesome and there's a huge booklet of shots from the visual album. There were a few small pops on Side B in particular, but it seems like overall my pressing is of higher quality than other reviews indicated. Limited edition four-disc vinyl set of Beyoncé’s Coachella performance over two weekends in April 2018.Similar to the Alternate Cover release, this original first pressing contains the interpolation of "Milkshake" by Kelis on track B2 "Energy", as well as the original offending lyric on track C4 "Heated", which were later changed on downloadable and streaming versions of the album, followed by new pressings of the album on Vinyl and CD. This one is the collector’s edition, so comes with two printed jackets, a 36-page photo booklet, and two posters (one 24in and one 36in). Unfortunately all of the inners have split seams on all sides, but the overall packaging is rather nice. She also thanked her fans for waiting for the official release date to listen to the 16-song record after an album leak. I did notice surface noise on my copy that wasn’t super noticeable during the songs, but definitely noticeable during the quiet passages.

If the recent heatwave made you think that you need a handheld fan in your life, luckily Beyoncé has come to the rescue once again. When the cutting head plows through the lacquer, it can push some lacquer up over the edge of the groove, like if you ran your finger through the dirt. The singular intent of 'Renaissance', a reinvention of four on the floor, is to showcase music that stirs you from the soul and encourages your dancing feet. The satin gloves are embellished with rhinestones that spell out “act i” on one arm, and “renaissance” on the other. Inside the CD pack, you’ll also receive a 28-page photo booklet and a mini poster, making it the perfect option for fans of the aritst.The runout markings on the discs help distinguish the original pressing from the later repressed versions. Since it’s release, I have spun both discs at least 20 times and the quality of playback hasn’t worn out one bit. In terms of the record quality - the bright yellow is a nice choice, but it did highlight a couple of dark spots on the records.
