About this deal

Children will use their creativity to crecreate a skeleton for each of the dinosaurs using the picture (or these dinosaur fossil figures) as an example. THis is such a fun STEM activity for kids that allows them to work on making deductions about proportions, skeletal support along with a art portion for this fun dinosaur science for kids!

Glue pasta on the construction paper once you’ve figured out what type of skeletal system would support the dinosaur you are making a dinosaur fossil of. Carnivores roam freely in my house and they want MEAT! I used real bacon crumbles in this one but have successfully substituted turkey bacon for a lower fat option. This is a really simple but fun dinosaur activity. All you need is some air dry clay and some small dinosaur figure s. Choosing veggies your kids will eat is key. But also keep in mind the texture. My kids all eat steamed buttered broccoli so that's what I added. Use veggies they love, then introduce something new to have them try.If it’s rainy outside, or maybe your kids don’t want to play in the mud, you can make this volcano art project instead.

Give your child some tools- a hammer, a paint brush, a butter knife- whatever you can find- and allow them to chip away the ice to reveal the prehistoric finds inside! This bottle would be great for in the car or for use while waiting for appointments or at a restaurant. Looking for a great summer dinosaur activity for your preschooler? This ice archaeology is so much fun and a great way to keep cool!I have a full printable recipe card below with the method, but for the shopping list, you'll need the following ingredients:
