There are still some unique items only available by tapping the Zelda series amiibo, though — namely, unique paraglider fabric. You can change your paraglider fabric by heading to the Kochi Dye Shop in Hateno, and there are some rather lovely ones too.

Wolf Link is an exception to all other amiibo. Activating the Wolf Link amiibo will summon Wolf Link as a companion. The following are points of information that relate only to Wolf Link: Only the four Divine Beast Helms of the armor set items available through amiibo exceed a defense of 20 at a ★★★★ upgrade level. The base game on its own has the Soldier's Set, the Ancient Set, the Set of the Wild as well as the Amber Earrings and Diamond Circlet, all with a top defense of 28, and the Champion's Tunic which has a top defense of 32. The Divine Beast Helms ( Ruta, Rudania, Naboris and Medoh) are part of the Ancient Set, but unlike the Ancient Helm they do not provide protection against Guardians, so they reduce the set's effectiveness in that respect. For example, scanning the Majora’s Mask Link amiibo grants you the chance to themed fabric for your paraglider, or the Fierce Deity set. Beyond that, amiibo often also have a theme running through their respective characters — such as most Link amiibo dropping a type of generic sword, or Zelda amiibo granting minerals, herbs and flowers.
