Over recent years, Fearne Cotton has refocussed her career and life to spend more time looking at connection rather than living a life of celebrity glitz and glamour. This book is the result of Fearne exploring the more spiritual things - those things that are "bigger than us".

This book’s purpose is to get us all looking at the concepts that are bigger than our own individual thoughts.’ - Fearne Cotton, Bigger Than Us Fearne has also covered for Chris Evans on the Breakfast Show from 9–13 April 2018. In late 2018, Cotton sat in for Claudia Winkleman on Sundays. [28] I haven't listened to Fearne's Happy Place podcast before. I don't follow her on social media either. I only say this so you understand that this review is coming from a place of sincerity and not fandom. In the book Fearne (who has always been massively open to all things mystical) discusses topics like Shamanism, meditation, The Law of Attraction, energy, astrology, prayer (not religious prayer unless you want it to be), ritual, intuition and more. She brakes these topics down inviting readers to understand her history with each of them before inviting a specialist on each subject to have a bit of a free flowing chat with her. Along the way, each section offers the reader entry-level ways on how to make each topic a part of your life and how it could help.

An enthusiastic cook, Fearne released her first cookbook in June 2016: Cook Happy, Cook Health. Her next book, Happy, talks about her own experiences of happiness (including some of the not-so-happy ones), and was published February 2017. Fearne's third book, Cook. Eat. Love, was published in June 2017. In 2019, Cotton was the cover host for Zoe Ball during the holidays. On 19 March 2020 Cotton launched BBC Radio 2's fourth music decades show, Sounds of the 90s. Plunkett, John (16 July 2009). "Jo Whiley and Edith Bowman lose weekday BBC Radio 1 slots". The Guardian . Retrieved 16 July 2009. She also presented the Friday night live eviction programme that year for the Channel 5 reality television series Make Me a Supermodel. Fearne Wood [1] ( née Cotton; born 3 September 1981) [2] is an English broadcaster and author . She began her career in the late 1990s presenting various children's television shows for GMTV, CITV and CBBC. From 2002 to 2021, Cotton was a regular presenter on the BBC One music show Top of the Pops. In 2006, she co-presented the reality show Love Island, and the following year, she presented The Xtra Factor, an ITV2 spin-off from the main show. She has also co-presented some of the Red Nose Day and Children in Need telethons. From 2008 to 2018, Cotton was a team captain on the ITV2 comedy panel show Celebrity Juice.Slaney, Rowan; Verdier, Hannah; Davies, Hannah J. (16 March 2018). "Fearne Cotton tries to find her Happy Place – podcasts of the week". The Guardian. ISSN 0261-3077 . Retrieved 9 March 2019.

The book is based around spirituality, but that doesn't take away how incredibly, inspiring fearne cotton really is. I've now read all of her books, I was intrigued when I realised she had another book released so I didn't hesitate to buy it!
