About this deal

The reason for this is to maintain the flat profile as much as possible and limit sagging within the middle of the bed (also meaning that less central padding is required). To be honest, I was quite surprised at how comfortable the bedchair is without the elasticated midsection. The size of your bedchair is also vital to a good night’s sleep. Now when it comes to designing a lightweight bedchair, it can be easy for a manufacturer to simply make the whole thing smaller.

Overall to summarise the size, you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how large it is considering the light transport weight. Strength & Stability I got a Trakker RLX Nano chair as I thought they would be good with being able to use it as a "bedchair buddy" or as a low or guest chair, but, despite bringing it fishing it stays in the car usually. Built with durability in mind, the Bedchair Buddy's cover is securely riveted to the frame, preventing slipping and providing added strength. This robust design ensures that your Nash Fishing Bedchair Buddy remains a reliable and comfortable seating option for many angling adventures to come. I’m no longer hunched over after a two day session and to be honest, night fishing has become much more comfortable. Firstly, Trakker has reduced the padding in the central section of the bed chair, which makes up a fair proportion of the weight of most modern bedchairs. To counteract the loss of comfort here, Trakker has included a roped midsection instead of elastic. Finally the chair can also be used on its own as a standalone low chair should you wish to sit outside of the bivvy besides your rods or offer a chair to a guest that visits your swim. Due to the angle of the rear leg and also the length of the adjustable front legs you can sit very comfortably in the chair for hours on end. Now given the style of this bedchair, it only makes sense to start by discussing size and weight. Coming in at just under 7kg, the Trakker RLX 6 bedchair is officially one of the lightest bed chairs available on the market. If you also try to move the chair forward to the edge of the bed to get the legs to reach the ground, that does not work either, it still slopes forewards but you also find that you can feel the side of the bed pressing through the updated seat of the chair, and that to is uncomfortableto even attempt sitting in that position. Trakker has not done this with the Trakker RLX 6 Bedchair, and I was pleased to see that. The bedchair itself is actually 4kg lighter and much longer and wider than my old Total Fishing Gear Bedchair.

A big part of the stability of your bedchair will come from the leg mechanism. The Trakker RLX Compact Bedchair has 6 adjustable legs which can go from 28cm to 38cm. Whilst I find that fine for most of the swims I come across, it may still leave you uneven on steep river banks. That being said, I don’t think there’s any solution to that really. As we’ve already mentioned, it’s a decent length and width too so there has been no compromise there. If you have a small car boot or a tight fit in the shed, you might take a look at the Nash Scope Ops 4 Fold Sleep System as an alternative. If you’re looking for superior transport size with the Trakker RLX 6 Bedchair, you’re not going to get it unfortunately. Whilst it is lightweight, it doesn’t fold up any more compact than other beds. The bedchair is 3-fold like most of the other bedchairs available on the market. Whilst it is not as comfortable as it’s bigger brothers, Trakker have done everything in their power to reduce the weight without compromising on comfort. We will make every reasonable effort to deliver your products safely and in accordance with any specific delivery instructions that you give us however we will not be liable for any delay, damage or loss as a result of complying with such specific instructions.

As this Advanta Endurance Reclining Bedchair Buddy is so lightweight, it also makes the perfect guest chair. This is ideal if you’re joined at the bank by another angler, or a friend or family member. After all, it can sometimes be uncomfortable to maintain a conversation over a brew if one of you is stood and the other is sat. This bedchair buddy gives you an easy way of providing a seat to your bankside guest. It also works perfectly as an alternative to a low chair. This is ideal if you’re somebody who enjoys ultra-mobile angling, as this is an exceptionally lightweight solution to the problem of comfortable bankside seating. You even have the option of adjusting the roped midsection to suit how firm you would like the bed. I guess it's also (one of?) the only chairs that can be used on a bed chair and as a standard chair so with no competition they can chose their price! The RLX6 is still going strong and is still my bedchair of choice. The roped mid section has started to come loose slightly after months of sitting in the middle of the bed during my sessions where I didn’t take a chair. This is quite common with most bedchairs after years of use. The second issue, as a low chair, they can be comfortable or uncomfortable depending on how much the ground slopes. And if you use it as a fishing chair etc, then getting out of it in a rush is not easy without rolling out of it and then standing up unless your a gymnast.Firstly it can be used across the middle of a bedchair as a traditional bedchair buddy. This is perfect for when you want to sit up and read a book/magazine or socialise with friends in the bivvy when the weather is bad outside. The unique reinforced rear leg structure simple extends across the bedchair and overhangs the end of it giving you a very firm, and comfortable chair on the bedchair. This will fit practically all bedchairs on the market. It’s a decent fit in my Trakker Tempest 100T Carp Bivvy too, providing plenty of foot space at the front and storage at the rear. This was another key consideration for me. Easy to transport, although not the most compact There are a few chairs out there where the rear legs fold flat. If you take the bungs out of the side bars and carry a couple of steel rods that will extend the side bars just enough to sit across the frame of the bedchair then bobs your uncle. Couple of quid fix to the chair of your choice.

recommend that you use recorded or special delivery as we can not be liable for any loss or damage in transit.

Length wise, the Trakker RLX 6 comes in at 206cm, so fine even if you’re over 6 foot tall. In terms of width, you’ve got plenty to play with at 78cm too. It’s no Nash wideboy, but perfect if you’re of average build like myself. One of the key advantages of the Nash Fishing Bedchair Buddy is its adaptability. Not only can it be used on your bedchair, but it also serves as a fantastic guest chair or lightweight stalking seat when placed directly on the ground. This elevated seating position keeps you off the damp or cold floor, providing additional comfort during extended sessions. If you’re regularly on the move or like to keep the weight of your gear to a minimum, this should definitely be a consideration for your next carp bedchair.
