Unit 16 High Carr Network Centre, Millennium Way, High Carr Business Park, Newcastle Under Lyme, Staffordshire, ST5 7XE Do more with your energy. Understand how to use it with real-time breakdowns that measures your spend, room by room.Fool the ECU into thinking that you are at a lower altitude. No one has attempted this and I understand why. I'm not anti Booster Plug but I do view it as a poor mans ECU flash. I think you would be better off putting that money towards an ECU flash where the fuel mapping is altered at every point across the rev range more accurately. Is the book a plug for the Booster Plug? Yep, but the author admits that from the start. What I like about the book is that it fairly treats the various solutions to fuel mapping, and debunks a few myths too. Control heating from anywhere with the Wiser Home app. Access smart features, Insights, and energy reports. I made a DIY version using a diode to reduce the voltage going to the O2 sensor. Dirt cheap when done yourself, and the results were fine at low-mid rpm. FatDuc - modifies O2 sensor input - closed loop only. Dangerous because we don't know everything we need to know about how the ECU uses the signal.

Looking to revive this thread as I am looking into options of going full system and get rid of cat. How did people get on with booster plugs and the Ninja? There seems to be a huge amount of debate around the effectiveness of booster plugs online with a lot of people saying they don't work on bikes with more modern ecu's. I have also seen some conflicting dyno results perhaps further validating the claim that there effectiveness is limited on certain models. Just wondering if anyone has been running one for a while on their ninja and could comment. I was also wondering too if anyone has bothered to go "the whole hog" and actually install a/f gauge to also monitor the effectiveness of booster plug in real time. Ambient air intake modifier - tells the ECU it's colder outside. Most the cheap versions are just a resister. But resisters tend to vary resistance based on temperature so they are not linear and you may over fuel the bike as well. The BoosterPlug propaganda suggests that they have compensated for this and come with another air temp sensor to provide a reference reading. Supposed to be linear. BoosterPlug link. There is one guy who apparently can do pretty good dyno tuning, but he is a hard person to pin down. He is real old school, the sort of mechanic where you leave your bike there for two weeks and maybe he will do something in between other jobs, but there is no guarantee that anything will have happened. Harper's Moto Guzzi. Where we still answer the phone, use the highest quality parts, and also do Transmission, rear drive, and carb rebuilds fast. Call us at 816.697.3411 and get your problems resolved. ECU tuner (FTECU, Woolich, Aracer, etc). Can reprogram the motorcycle yourself, sometimes even using your phone. Store multiple maps, use PC5 maps, and allow you to adjust a lot of the parameters. Can cost as much as a dyno tune, or more, but totally worth it. 2nd best overall option.I used to use a Twinmax to balance my throttle bodies on my BMW's and could really get those motors to run smooth. Is this the best tool to use for the Guzzi or is there something better? Thanks,

This may work on machines with a 15m-RC controller but I really, REALLY, [REALLY/size] advise against it on machines using the W5AM. Please, don't even think about it.
