About this deal

Tell us your current shade match, and we'll help you find a match in your next foundation or concealer! Luscious is a medium, golden brown with hints of copper and a metallic finish. It had rich, opaque coverage paired with a smooth, blendable texture and was easy to work with. It wore for seven and a half hours on me.

While I truly feel sad for those who have been anxiously awaiting and wanting this palette, I also feel a weird sense of relief. Basically for 2 reasons: I am severely allergic to one of the ingredients common to ALL of Too Faced “food themed” palettes, sodium saccharin, and secondly, this palette just isn’t all that quality wise. Readers often ask me what are my absolute, all-time favorites, and now you can find my current and long-time favorites all in one place!

Bless Her Heart

Nectar is a bright, light-medium yellow with strong, warm orange undertones and a frosted shimmer-sheen finish. It had good color payoff with a very soft, silky-smooth texture that was a little dusty and had a tendency to sheer out easily. The color wore well for seven and a half hours on me. Georgia is a muted, medium coral peach with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had medium coverage, which wasn’t really buildable, but it was better over a primer. The texture was powdery and thin, which was the source of most of my issues with it. This shade lasted for six hours on me. It is interesting how the average ends up working out! Like testing it, it felt decent, but when they were bad, they were REALLY bad, which dragged down the palette as a whole. She has normal-to-dry skin with occasional dryness on cheeks and nose. She has a light plus skintone with subtle, warmer yellow undertones ( view her foundation matches here).

Cobbler is a medium-dark brown with warm, reddish undertones and a soft sheen. It was much drier in the newer palette, and as a result, it was sheerer and had more uneven coverage. It did not improve over primer, and the only way to really work with it decently was to use it with a damp brush. It lasted for six hours on me. Talc, Ethylene/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, Mica, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, PTFE, Zinc Stearate, Sodium Saccharin, Water/Aqua/Eau, Geraniol, Glycerin, Hexyl Cinnamal, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance/Parfum, Phenoxyethanol, Prunus Persica (Peach) Fruit Extract/Prunus Persica Fruit Extract, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Sorbic Acid. May Contain: Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Manganese Violet (CI 77742), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891). Bless Her Heart is a muted, medium-dark olive green with warm, brown undertones and a pearly sheen. It had good color payoff with a slightly drier feel that did not apply as well as I thought it would. This shade started to fade after seven hours on me. It seemed greener initially, but it had a tendency to fade/mute within a few minutes and ended up looking the same after that compared to the original release. My general review stands the same, though, which is that Too Faced's formula begs for an eyeshadow primer. It is typically thinner and dustier such that the eyeshadows will sheer out or apply unevenly (or turn patchy when blended) without primer underneath. There are many formulas that at least apply well (even if they don't last all day) without primer, but Too Faced's eyeshadow formula is particularly difficult to use well without primer across the board--application, pigmentation, blendability, and longevity. The palette does have a strong, sweet peach scent, though I can't smell it once applied to the lid. Sweet Peach Illuminator is a golden peach with warm undertones and a metallic sheen. It blended in quite a bit with my skin tone, but I expect on lighter and cooler complexions, it will have a more noticeable warming effect. The texture was smooth, dense and firm but not stiff or difficult to diffuse on the skin. It had good pigmentation that wore well for eight and a half hours on me. Caramelized is a medium, golden bronze with warm, coppery undertones and a metallic finish. It had intense color payoff with a fairly soft, smooth texture that applied well to bare skin and lasted for eight hours.
