CAN SOMEONE BRING ME A GUN????!! I don’t think I have the strength to continue on after this life-altering series. I cried myself to sleep the night I finished, and cried again when I woke up because of this book. Ever since I’ve finished it’s felt like there’s a tiny hole in my chest and I don’t know if it’s because I’m happy or sad that this book/series happened. gen/

the fake dating: now to the best part- I’m being very biased rn and don’t know what else to say but yes IT. WAS. PERFECT. The tension, the jealousy, all the secret moments- Before I get in deep about why I think this didn’t work for me, I have something to say: I love heroes like Ryan. He’s the reason why it pains me that I couldn’t get into the book, no matter how hard I tried. He’s the reason why I kept reading even if I was feeling nothing. We need more heroes like him in romance. i can’t believe i’m saying this but heroes are not everything. When she's not traveling or writing, Liz can be found reading a good book or taking her Golden Retriever, Luke, on a hike in her hometown in Sonoma County, CA. Liz Tomforde writes sports romance novels that depict realistic and healthy relationships. Her books offer a mix of witty banter and real-life struggles. Her heroes are alpha yet vulnerable, and her heroines are strong.

See a Problem?

ever since i read mile high I have been dying patiently waiting for ryanindys book to release and now that i finished all i want to do is read it all over again Authors, if you are a member of the Goodreads Author Program, you can edit information about your own books. Find out how in this guide. and yes I know AND AGREE that Lance Orion basically owns the name “blue” but I’ll give ryan a pass because it just felt right and the perfect name for indy <3

all in all though, i had a really good time reading it. i loved this book and indyryan and it doesn’t deserve to be slept on at all✨ The romance was so well done, literally a masterpiece. The transitions from strangers to friends to lovers are globally the sum’ of me being here, reading endless and endless contemporary romances. Having a fake girlfriend wasn’t supposed to be messy but having Indy under my roof and in my bed is complicated, especially when she wants all the romantic parts of life that I could never give her. Absolutely love the chemistry of Ryan and Indy. If I thought that Stevie and Zanders’ banter was great—Ryan and Indy’s is top tier 😆 I love the sarcastic remarks they have for each other and the overall energy this two emits when they’re together. Everything about this two is *chef’s kiss* 🤌 The way he made her coffee, put it in the fridge to cool so it wouldn’t get watered down when she added ice??

Honestly this was probably the best fake dating sports romance I've read 🤷🏽‍♀️ I'm normally not a big fan of fake dating/my best friends sibling books only because they're really predictable and the third act break up is always around everyone finding out the truth bla bla bla BUT none of that happened in this book the sibling gave them their blessing early on and no one cared that it started out fake. I loved that so much. This book was really deep in some parts, both main characters had a lot of issues due to people hurting them and tainting their view of the world. Ryan more so and I honestly couldn't get enough of them tearing down each others walls.... perfection.

Show stopping, stunning, breathtaking, astounding, magnificent, perfect, spectacular, glorious, majestic, wonderful. I may or may not be completely obsessed with this series. The first book was really good but nothing compares to this one. It’s easily my favorite because it was written for the hopeless romantic girlies It didn’t get better. I felt so detached from the story that I found myself skipping even the smut. I could rant about everything that got on my nerves but I think the main problem was that I wasn’t vibing with the writing, so the moment it stopped being fun, I wasn’t able to care again. Ryan Shay is most definitely one of my top book boyfriends. There’s not even a question about that. His quiet love, from the ice coffees in the fridge to learning sign language absolutely swept me. I am so far gone for this man.Jealousy turns you on?”“Nah. No need to be jealous when I know what’s mine. I’m the one you’re going home with.” i thought mile high was unbeatable.. but wow. indy, my romantic, i loved her so much. she touched a part of my soul i didn’t know existed. and ryan, my secret softie, he understood her so well. the way this book showed that the loudest loves are the quiet ones. I just love how Liz Tomforde writes and creates her characters, story and plot!! She just knows how to create the perfect love story while also including different important topics which need to represented and talked about!! The plot never got to be overly dramatic nor was it stupidly cheesy, I felt like I was reading about two very great people as individuals who together were absolute goals and total soulmates. I related so much with Indy about her people pleasing habits and some other things (most things actually except her love for hosting and being such an extrovert), so maybe that made this book stand out even more to me.

My reaction to this man putting coffee in a fridge was about on the same scale as if he saved a thousand babies from a burning building. When she’s not traveling or writing, Liz can be found reading a good book or taking her Golden Retriever, Luke, on a hike in her hometown in Sonoma County, CA. Indy was such a wonderful heroine, i am the President of the Indy Defence Team. get behind me, girl, ily<3 she broke my heart but also made me feel so much hope and joy. she was funny and sweet, self-sacrificing and painfully loyal. i loved her journey here just as much as i adored the romance. while Ryan’s love for her was my fave part of the book, Indy’s journey to self-discovery, self-love and independence may have stolen the show for me? she was my typa girl. If I’m going to even consider taking you to this wedding, I’m going to need to turn you into one of my book boyfriends first.” That earns a raised brow.Steamin’ up the room -the sexual content is more explicit in the language and tone, heavier amount of sexual scenes. I've complained about so many dumb things before, but a heroine being NOT annoying is a first for me but this was such a good read, i adored it so much. gimme Rio’s book immediately, im kinda bummed he’s not next :( my lil himbo child ily, come home to me. When Indy needs a place to stay, after finding her ex cheating on her, Stevie suggests she move in with her brother, Ryan, now that she with Zee. Ryan and Indy’s first 2 meetings have not been the best, she was a crying mess the first time and the second time she threw up on his shoes 😅 talk about awkward. A messy romantic and a closed off clean freak living together, what could go wrong? 🤔
