The highlight of the novel isn't the story and/or the characters but the Greek island the six women travel to for a friend's bachelorette trip. Everyone seems a bit on edge, Bella's not crazy about Lexi's new friend, Ana. Who even is she anyway!? All across the USA, people are showing up dead. The deaths don't appear to be connected in any way until one particular death occurs and gets the Secretary of Defense's attention. He arranges for a task force to investigate.I did not see the twists coming and felt like I was on a rollercoaster! Just as I thought things would settle another twist was thrown into the mix. I loved the slow uncovering of the truth as secrets were aired. I also thoroughly enjoyed the ending, it felt like a great way to wrap this story up. I listened to the audiobook of this novel and really liked the narrator. I will definitely be reading more by Lucy Clarke from now on!
