It's got to be a 4A controller. So you should be able to run 2 fans to each header.Yeah, I did run across that as well. The Pro Xt is not listed, but as you said, these are CoolIt pumps. At first I felt safe seeing that historically CoolIt uses 1A channels, but out of an abundance of caution I thought I would ask. That’s because the GTX/v2 series is not supported in CUE 4 as noted in the release notes and the pinned thread below. Also the Z model has the same pump and radiator (if it does) but slower fans, so you can expect similar performance until the fans start struggling and produce more noise to cool the radiator" Frankly, I don't think the idea that no one here has both coolers and 6 hours to burn for your pleasure is that difficult a concept to understand. Perhaps you should take a moment of pause. For someone who "already knows all that", you have a lot of questions whether you are aware of it or not. Rerouted the USB to a rear port rather than the Node (Node now just controls my RGB strips), same problems.

Corsair’s iCUE software provides a graphical UI to allow management of all detected Corsair peripherals and components, ranging from customized color palettes and patterns, to fan curve profiles, pump management and even the device firmware update that provided us a bit of a higher pump speed on the Extreme setting. Let me go grab both coolers (including the one not available for sale in my country) and I’ll go run several hours of temperature and sound testing for an unspecified CPU and fan set. You can wait here in the User’s Case Modding and Customization forum. I ended up disconnecting the USB cable from the cooler and replugging it. This seemed to fix the problem and my cooler is now synced with the rest of my PC. Hello everyone, I registered here to report the same issue with my H100i RGB Pro XT. It has become really frustrating. While the larger H115i RGB PLATINUM did have a slight edge overall, the iCUE H100i RGB PRO XT was a very quiet cooler at both the “Quiet” and “Balanced” presets. Duration of sustained load will affect the noise output, with our test runs pushing things as far as 37.9 dBA at the “Extreme” preset. Anything under 40 dBA with loads this hot is really good, though it is very hard to beat very large air coolers in this department. So. Not only is the new software's installer a horribly UX experience (redundant is redundant). But the new version doesn't even support the older products.

H100i Elite Capellix XT Review: No Bursty Fan Corsair iCUE H100i Elite Capellix XT Review: No Bursty Fan

All ELITE LCD XT AIOs include pre-applied CORSAIR XTM70 Extreme Performance thermal paste for maximum heat transfer from your high-end processor to the cooler cold plate. In his nonexistent spare time Sebastian's hobbies include hi-fi audio, guitars, and road bikes. Currently investigating time travel. The cooling unit itself has two cables to plug in, a SATA power connector, and a pump sensor cable. The SATA power connector should be connected directly to an available SATA power cable from your PSU, and the 3 pin (with only a single sensor wire) fan connector should be plugged into your CPU fan header on the motherboard. The sensor cable relays pump RPM information to both the BIOS and to the Corsair Link V2 software, and lets your motherboard know that you have a CPU cooler installed. I would start by looking at this review of the H100x here. Now it really would have been nice if the reviewer had included the H100i Pro, but they did not. However, it does include the H115i Pro which is the slightly larger 280mm size. You can see the temp differences are a fraction of a degree even between different size units. That then suggests the difference between a same size unit (the 240mm H100i Pro) is going to be essentially non-existent. When it comes to cooler tech, we are all very much limited by the conductivity of the materials (CPU and cold plate) and not so much by small cooler differences.

The double-wide radiator offers approximately twice the cooling area of our Hydro Series coolers which use a 120mm or 140mm radiator. It fits virtually any case that has dual 120mm fan mounts spaced for a 240mm radiator. Advanced SP120L PWM fans Puffy23 said:Any information on the maximum current each of the fan channels can support? That specific unit uses 2x ML120 Pro, which is rated for 0.225A of power.CORSAIR’s iCUE H100i RGB PRO XT offers excellent cooling, controlled noise levels, and excellent customization with both lighting and fan speeds easily managed using the iCUE software. My Corsair H100i Pro is not being detected in iCUE, I have installed the micro USB header to both USB headers on my Commander Pro and still no detection from iCUE. I even tried to connect the USB 2.0 to the spare connection on my motherboard and still no detection from iCUE. Is my cable faulty or do I need to replace the entire AIO? Puffy23 said:Thanks again for your help, it's nice to see someone else thinking along similar lines.I'm glad I could help. If you want to see diagrams or more detailed installation instructions, consult your cooler product manual. If you cannot find your product manual, you can use this manual for the H100i Platinum. In addition to testing Cinebench without power limits enforced, we’ll also be showing results when the CPU’s power consumption is limited to a more reasonable 200W. We’ll also show results at 125W for those who prefer whisper-quiet cooling, at the cost of some performance. For both of these results, we’ll show traditional delta over ambient temperature results.
