Mystical Fire is a good utility Fire-type move. In addition to the excellent 75 base power, this move also lowers the target's Sp. Atk stat by one stage. First projectile damage: 1150, Succeeding projectile damage: 290 (Excludes Pixilate effect), Number of projectiles: 6 Delphox is a bipedal, fox-like Pokémon. It is covered in a coat of long fur that resembles a robe. This "robe" is primarily dark red with red-orange, flame-like markings near its knees. There is also a thin tuft of white fur on its torso, which is flanked by yellow fur draping down from its shoulders. Its forearms feature long red fur resembling sleeves, and its hands and feet are dark gray with three clawed fingers and toes, respectively. A tail covered in yellow fur protrudes from its "robe". Its head is yellow with longer white fur on its cheeks. It has red eyes and a slender snout with a pinkish nose. Three tufts of red-orange fur protrude out of each ear. When its mouth is open, two pointed teeth can be seen on its upper jaw.A Delphox appeared in the opening sequence of Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel, when it evolved from Fennekin and Braixen. The same goes for non-shadow Hisuian Typhlosion and Skeledirge (Gen 9) if they get the best possible moves, though H-Typhlosion may be underrated and Skeledirge may be overrated. I can’t run sims on them yet. While a good move, Fire-type Pokemon are mostly used as sweepers meaning you want to deal lethal damage each turn. Because of this, we suggest using stronger moves such as Flamethrower or Fire Blast instead. I still stand by my opinion: No, whaling out 6 Shadow Mewtwo is not a priority. Not even worth it for those with limited resources (and thus other priorities). Primarily because Psychic types are rarely used in the first place. A Delphox appeared in Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction, under the ownership of Merilyn. It is her main Pokémon, used to assist her in her thievery. It gazes into the flame at the tip of its branch to achieve a focused state, which allows it to see into the future. Among starters only, Blast Burn Delphox is (and will be) the 2nd best, only behind Blaziken and tied with Emboar. But much better options exist: Reshiram, Shadows, Volcarona/Darmanitan/Chandelure. This means Delphox is the 2nd best Blast Burn starter in all (currently known) generations, only behind Blaziken. Verdict
