In 2014 the series won all three Eisners that it was nominated for: Best Painter/Multimedia Artist, Best Writer, and Best Continuing Series. I binged this series over 3 days on Hoopla and I am not okay. I was so intrigued the entire time, I just wanted to see what happened next. All of the characters were so complex and it really shows that everyone's the protagonist of their own story. I'm seriously in awe of the depth. There's a ton of gore, sex, nudity, and just general vulgarity in Saga, but it doesn't feel trashy when it so easily could. The art is gorgeous, even when what it's depicting is not.
