About this deal

Unlike the Marauder 2, the Marauder Mini uses the signature magnetic charging system and also has a removable battery. The customised 6500 mAh 32650 lithium-ion battery is recharged inside the torch using the included MCC3 magnetic charging cable. Simply connect the magnet to the base of the torch and plug the USB end into a suitable USB adaptor (5 V 2 A recommended for fastest charging). The indicator light on the magnet will go red while charging is in progress and turn green once charging is complete after approximately 5 hours if the power supply is sufficient enough to support the 2 A output, otherwise the cable will output at a lower rate or 1 A or 1.5 A depending on the power supply. White and RGB Light Combo]This flashlight is composed of 9 LEDs surrounding the center, enabling 200-7000 lumens at seven brightness levels; Three RGB color LEDs are uniformly distributed around the converging lens, making it suitable for use on any occasion Dual-beam with Spot and Flood: An array of LEDs offers two powerful beam choices: a 600-meter max throw from the central LED’s spotlight beam or a 7,000-lumen max output floodlight beam from the 9 surrounding LEDs. Hover your mouse over any particular line to see data points! Or select a flashlight at the bottom of the graph to highlight that particular graph. (Are you on a mobile phone? Hold your phone horizontally). If you look at the 3 graphs, you see that L5 is actually doing the nices output from 25 minutes onward. It produces about 3500 lumens just short of 3.5 hours.

Primarily you’ll be carrying this light by means of the lanyard, which attaches through this “coin slot loop.” Uniformly Distributed RGB Color LEDs: Three RGB LEDs are uniformly distributed around the lens, greatly increasing its usefulness on any outdoor adventure. I can’t wait to talk about this flashlight. If you’re impressed with anything build by Lumintop, Fenix, Acebeam and the like, you will definitely be impressed with this one.

Some people complained about the rectangular beam, and it’s probably because they aren’t used to it. I think our perception of a beam is usually round. It’s not like the imperfect beam of most zoomable/focusable flashlights. The LED for throw is in the center behind a convex shaped lens. The outer ring of LEDs are in the outer ring behind TIR optics. In the flood setting, the beam is really wide and smooth. I don’t really know what kind of LEDs they are. The light does shut off with low voltage protection, and the stepdowns seem to approximate what Olight’s manual claims. Charging

Turning this light on was a bit of a struggle. Instead of a push switch it has a dial + push switch. I had to read the manual to understand how to turn it on… men don’t read manuals you know. Miniature and Powerful] Smaller than the previous Marauder series flashlights but with both flood and throw dual-beam LED flashlights, must-have for search and rescue, hunters, and all outdoor enthusiasts Sometimes, features are a problem. One of the things I never encountered before is a proximity sensor inside a flashlight. I am usually not very fond of this type of feature, but I actually appreciate it, because it’s a safety feature. It reduces the output when an object is close to the flashlight. This could be a person, but it could also be your bag!

With the adjustable brightness level, you have just the perfect amount of light you need, whatever your situation calls for. The multi-colour RBG LED is beneficial in so many capacities. When you’re searching in the dark, working at a crime scene, or providing helpful service to someone in need, the RBG LED lights will illuminate your path without sacrificing your night vision. With its compact build, the Marauder Mini will be your go-to carry-on for any mission. Unlike the Marauder 2 (or “M2”), this little loop does not seem to flip out and in the photo above is as exposed as it gets. For Spotlight lumens, I used the integrating sphere for this. My measurements were quite a bit higher than the specifications. Marauder 2 Spot: Levels

The Marauder 2 is 8% longer (so, not longer by that much), 17% wider at the head and at the body (ok, 17% is a bit more), and finally, 61% heavier (ok, this is very noticeable). On the other hand, the Marauder 2 has double the brightness of the Marauder Mini, and 200 meters (or 50%) more throw. But the Marauder Mini has a RGB LEDs, as well as vibration indicator for when you reach minimum and maximum outputs. This is not the end of the world. It’s very nice that it’s even possibleto change the cell, even if we’re required to buy one directly from Olight. I am also pleased that this light runs on a singlelithium-ion cell; any configuration of series or parallel just adds more complexity than I often like to fool with. (That said, cells in series or parallel is exactly why a light like the bigger Marauder 2 has the cells built in…) Lamp Type: 1 x Central spot CW LED / 6 x flood CW LEDs / 1 x red LED / 1 x green LED / 1 x blue LED It is compatible with Olight's MCC3 magnetic charging cable. It's convenient for charging. You don't have to worry about battery usage at any time, anywhere. It only takes about 4 hours from empty to full. There is yet 1 more switch, and that one is for switching between flood and throw. The center LED is actually used separately from the LEDs on the edge of the flashlight. I like that idea to have this option. The single LED has a much longer runtime as well. But anyway, the flood/throw switch is located below the knob. It’s pretty easy to operate in the dark.
