About this deal

We wouldn't change anything about these nappies – we love them! Tested by mum Sasha Bell for the Mother & Baby awards 2018: I would certainly recommend the Aldi Mamia nappies to my friends and fellow mums as they are so affordable and excellent quality. They are designed well and have exceeded my expectations of a good quality nappy. They are easy to use and very absorbent for those longer periods of time during the night and my little one never seemed uncomfortable. Alice: This nappy is very easy to use and I have experienced no leaks which is brilliant-less worry and less washing! They last well overnight which is important for the best possible night’s sleep for everyone. The Mamia nappy brand does everything you need it to do and more. When having a young baby, you go through lots of nappies, so the last thing you need to be worrying about is how much they cost. Aldi Mamia nappies are so much cheaper than most of the others you can buy from other supermarkets. But not only are they cheap, they are good quality, fit baby well and we have had virtually no leaks. They are just as good as the expensive brands, if not better and that is brilliant! Maybe a different design for older kids so they don't feel as babyish as their little sibling in nappies

We spoke to these real parent testers to get their review... How did this product make your life easier? The main reason parents decide against disposables and opt for reusable nappies is the environmental impact. Around eight million nappies are thrown into landfill waste each day in the UK, and may take hundreds of years to decompose. On average, switching from disposable to reusable cuts carbon emissions from nappy use by a quarter. We go with Aldi nappies every time! I used them from newborn to size 6+ with my son, and am now using them again with my daughter. They are great value for money and, in my opinion, are better than some of the more expensive brands.”The nappy pants have easy tear away sides and all-round stretch, making them as convenient as pants but with the absorbency of a nappy. Flexible leg cuffs also help prevent any leaks. Add that to the results from OUR tests with parents, who liked them for all the specific reasons that we love a good nappy:

Yes, definitely. I only ever buy pampers when they’re on offer as otherwise they’re just too expensive. I would choose this product as it is cost effective and great quality. Due to being very absorbable my baby has not experienced any nappy rash which for makes this product 10/10. Other brands I have used leaked and needed changing more often making them quite expensive. The biggest thing that stands out is they are inexpensive and great quality. Couldn't ask for more from nappies. These nappies are so affordable compared to other more expensive leading brands. People normally say the more expensive the product the better the quality but this is definitely not the case with these nappies. They do not leak and are very absorbent. I have used more expensive brands which leak and are not just a good fit. These also have cutest little design and the blue line on the front makes it easy to know when to change the nappy. You can resell them or keep them if you’re planning to have more children in the future. And you can buy second-hand. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes and some also come with a disposable or a washable liner which you use to collect your baby’s poo. Read more about choosing reusable nappies. The Aldi Mamia nappies will now be my go to brand as they are affordable and have never failed to perform. They did not irritate the skin and there was no redness, like I have found with other brands on the market. These are the only nappies that have never leaked. The only slight problem was the sizing, as the size three nappies were slightly larger than other brands I’ve tried for my little one and didn’t fit as well.

Ellie: The nappy performs as a nappy should do, it is easy to put on and take off and the nappy tabs are easily accessible. There was no stretching of the sides which meant it fitted my baby well and the nappy feels soft which is good when you know this will be used on delicate skin. Would you recommend this to other parents? I don't have to worry about any leaks or messes with these nappies and my little boy even wears them overnight without any leaks. They fit my baby really well, the line that goes blue when the nappy is wet is a brilliant feature as I only have to peak at it to know when he needs changing instead of pulling the napoy to the side. What are the best features of the Aldi Mamia nappy pants that make them ‘mum friendly'? (i.e: ease of use/leaks/storage etc.) Would you consider changing from your current brand of nappies to Aldi Mamia and why? I already use Mamia nappies My little one found these really easy to pull up and down. With some he struggles as the leg cuffs are too tight but Mamia were perfect. As my son got older he started to wriggle a lot more so when he did this I had to start again put it straight under his bum again it was a nightmare, these was so much easier. Sandra: We will definitely be getting these nappies again. We usually use pampers, which are much more expensive but find that these are not only cheaper but I think that they feel nicer too.
