About this deal

Even the house with its historically ambiguous decor and old books musty smells of fairytales, not to mention the enchanted garden. The Story Is Quite Engaging And Centres Not Just On Their Romance But Also On How Their Circumstances, As You’ll See, Keep Bringing Them Closer Together.

She has a slight obsession with hiking, bodybuilding, and live comedy shows. Her perfect day would be taking the kids to Harry Potter World, going dancing with Mr. Lark, then relaxing with a good book and a monster bag of salt and vinegar chips. James Dawson just sold the biggest tech company in Silicon Valley. He’s come to the city for a fresh start. But also to rub his success in the face of the woman who rejected him eight years earlier: Anika Knight. Will Marco manage to steal Anika’s heart along with her business? Or will James fall in love with her all over again, despite his best efforts to the contrary?” The Aspect Of Her Book That I Love The Most Is How Realistic And Contemporary Her Portrayal Of The Mafia World Is.Also, I'm not Polish, but some of the sentences used in the book seemed a bit off, hopefully a Polish speaker can confirm. Anyways many things about him just didn’t sit well with me. The fact that he THOUGHT about undressing her while she was unconscious so she can be scared when she wakes up was already bad enough, but I’m happy he didn’t actually do it. Dante shoots us a stern look. He’s still talking to our father, but he knows we’re plotting something. I fear that I may need to kill him while he is sound asleep. Everything would be much simpler if Callum weren’t so gorgeous. And listen, I'm a dancer, I love reading books where dancing is included. But this was so stupid that it did not work for me.

This is a mafia spin on Beauty and the Beast and I honestly loved how Lark handled it. I loved that there was an old dark musty mansion in this with a east wing and west wing, a huge library and a housekeeper who barely understands English. I found it charming and intense at the same time. I loved the whole "if you really love something you must let it go" nod to the original story. The amount of history research for all the rival mafias in Chicago and attention to detail was great. I loved all the dialogue in Polish between Miko and his guys. I loved that Miko felt atypical even for an anti-hero, his cunning intelligence was probably the most attractive thing about him. And the whole full body sleeve tattoos? It worked. 🔥

Dante is the oldest, so he sits on my father’s right-hand side. Nero’s on the left, with Sebastian next to him. I’m at the foot of the table, where my mother would sit if she were still alive. Author’s additional notes: “I knew I needed someone hot as hell to melt Riona’s icy heart. Raylan is a rancher, a soldier, and a southern boy with charm to burn. Best of all, he loves a challenge. My favorite parts to write were the fish-out-of-water scenes, when uptight Riona ends up on Raylan’s ranch. I loved finding creative ways for Raylan to use his riding crop…”
