There is a tremor in the Force in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. This is the first time we see Darth Vader falter. Yes, he is confident, but there is a hint of fear in his tone. After all, the last time he saw Obi-Wan, he lost terribly in a lightsaber duel. But this is the first time we get to see Darth Vader brandishing a lightsaber! This scene is tense for a whole host of reasons, but before the fight begins, Vader insists that he won’t lose another duel to his old master.

There were few moments as satisfying as Darth Vader’s arrival in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story™. It seems like the whole movie is building to Darth Vader. We were all on the edge of our seats as he walked through the smoke to greet Director Krennic™. All that Krennic cares about is his good standing with the Emperor. He wants to meet the Emperor. He wants Darth Vader to recognize his efforts, and mention them to the Emperor. And yet, he is incredibly short sighted. After the Grand Inquisitor's death, Vader became a more active participant in the hunt for the Lothal rebels and their Jedi. He set a trap for the freedom fighters and easily bested Kanan Jarrus and Ezra Bridger in lightsaber combat, though the Jedi survived the encounter. Vader also single-handedly wiped out most of Phoenix Squadron, but it was during this battle that he made a startling discovery: Ahsoka Tano lived. Just like the thighs, the forearms will be drawn as tubes which become narrower as they approach the wrist, where they are connected to the hand. Ensure that the wrists are aligned with the crotch area and use a rectangular shape to denote the hand which is folded in a fist. So let’s get started on our first tutorial. FIRST TUTORIAL: HOW TO DRAW DARTH VADER´S HELMET

Next, we will paint what we have drawn thus far. Paint the whole mask and helmet with a dark-grey blue color. This will serve you as the base color of your helmet. • STEP 10 – PAINTING THE LIGHTI use the cross-hatching style if I want to darken an already shaded area. This technique is quite similar to the hatching style only that in this case, when I’m done with the hatching lines, I go over them with a similar set of parallel lines in a different direction.

Step 8: Darken in Darth Vader's helmet by drawing a curved line that starts where the construction lines cross in between his eyes. Draw this line so it follows the small L shape outside his head, and end just below the L shape. Draw the same thing on the other side. Now darken in the middle portion of his helmet (the lines extending up from his nose). Start above the curved line you drew earlier in this step and follow the outside L shape. Connect the two lines at the end with a slightly tilted horizontal line. Finish drawing Darth Vader's helmet by darkening the top part of the main oval. However, since he is trying to turn Luke to the dark side, he cleverly plays on these insecurities and appeals to his strengths. Yes, he has let go of his fear. The knees will be represented by ellipses and I recommend drawing the feet with simple geometric shapes. • STEP 3 – DRAWING THE ARMS Shadows bring a sense of realism to drawings. With shading, you can create the illusion of depth and volume to bring a sense of three-dimensionality to the drawing. There are many shading techniques you could use, I particularly like shading using the hatching and cross-hatching techniques.Shadows help to bring a sense of three-dimensionality to images by creating the illusion of volume and depth. When it comes to this step, I would recommend painting over the area using a darker tone of the local color. For example, as you can see in the image, I shaded around the jaws, eyes, and interior of the helmet using a darker tone of the grey dark blue which is the base color. • STEP 12 – PAINTING THE FINAL TOUCHES We will now draw the nose details and the respirator grill. The nose will be ended in a flat and curved shaped triangle. The respirator will be a big triangle with two circles, each one located on the two lower vertices of the triangle and the nose´s triangle being the upper vertice. Inside the triangle´s respirator, you should draw 5 vertical openings with a criss-cross pattern inside them, simulating the filter grill of the respirator. • STEP 8 – DRAWING THE FINAL LINEART You can use SVG cut files perfectly for your projects and handmade products (t-shirts, masks, pillowcases, blankets, mugs, thermos, bags, invitation card, vinyl design, wall printing, party decorations and etc.). It has a rich history and has been an integral part of the Star Wars franchise since its introduction in the original trilogy. This section will explore the historical significance, design, and features of Darth Vader’s mask. When it comes to drawing the final line art, I recommend keeping it simple. Excessive detailing may end up complicating the final image. Draw your final line art on top of the dummy you created on the previous steps. • STEP 8 – DRAWING THE SHADOWS The lightsaber will be drawn in the left hand, with the pommel ending in a laser blade. • STEP 7 – DRAWING THE FINAL LINEART Also, we will paint some hard reflections on the helmet.
