About this deal

Specifically, lemongrass is something you often find in Thai dishes. However, not usually in the same recipe as lime and I really enjoy the lime flavor in Thai foods. So lime is what you'll find in this spice mix (feel free to substitute dried lemongrass). What happens if you don’t have one or two of the ingredients? It is a bit of a long list after all. Simply omit them. This won’t to make or break your seasoning blend. Anything more than that and I would pop over to the store to get them.

Dried chili flakes are very commonly used both in cooking and at the table to add spice – especially to Thai soups like Khao Tom. Most of the time, they use it roasted and crushed. It has subtle warming, nutty, sweet taste with a fresh, robust aroma. It is used essentially in classic Thai dishes and pastes like Prig Gang Mungsavirat, Satay, Prig Gang Massaman, and Prig Gang Kiew Wan.
