About this deal

The Future Renew Damage Reversal collection showcases what the Boots brand say is the biggest cosmetic science innovation in No7’s history. No7 Future Renew™ Damage Reversal Eye Serum is clinically proven to reverse visible signs of skin damage in just 8 weeks*

WORLD-FIRST TECHNOLOGY: Harness cutting-edge, patent-pending peptide technology developed over 15 years of scientific research You’d normally associate those kind of claims with ingredients such as retinol and vitamin C which are undeniably potent but can often trigger sensitivity. Yet No7 says that Future Renew is able to deliver visible results while being incredibly well tolerated and suitable for even sensitive skin. What’s in the Future Renew range? I’ve been using the two in tandem for a week and have noticed no irritation, and it’s much easier to apply the peptide serum when I don’t have to worry about avoiding dry areas like I do with retinol. The unique blend of patent-pending peptides in the No7 Future Renew Damage Reversal collection can’t be found in any other product on the market. After 1 week of using this No7 serum, skin looks rejuvenated and feels firmer; the appearance of puffiness is reduced, and skin tone looks more even†

The new Future Renew Damage Reversal collection has certainly been put through its paces, undergoing 37 studies on over 4,200 people including two clinical trials and 23 user trials. More than half (51%) of the total testing group had skin of colour. Rigirous testing is always a good sign because it means the products must live up to their claims before they can go on sale. Future Renew Night Cream is proven to reverse visible signs of skin damage and the appearance of uneven tone and texture, dry skin and the feeling of lost elasticity* Exposure to the sun's UV is the top cause of accelerated skin ageing and can lead to visible skin damage over time. Now, with No7'snew Future Renew™ range, you can reverse these visible signs while shielding your delicate skin from the sun. Since then, the brains behind the mega-selling serum have gone on to create a host of other affordable wrinkle-busting products. (No7/PA) No7 Future Renew Night Cream is expertly formulated to support skin's natural self-repair process while sleeping and reverse visible signs of skin damage. It contains the new super peptide blend, along with other key nourishing ingredients including shea butter, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid.

However, retinol is notorious for causing redness, irritation and flakiness – especially with sensitive skin – whereas peptides aren’t, nor does their potency dimish over time. Although this new peptide technology is very exciting, it's not to say that the products themselves, complete with filler ingredients and everything else that make up a cosmetics product, can harness the same results the technology shows in vitro. The scent (if you can even call it that) is very, very light, and the textures feel comforting. I especially like the day cream which feels very nourishing, and betrays no visible trace of its hefty SPF40 protection. I read some articles about how good this range is but then saw the adverts which seemed to avoid all the good things I’d read about the ingredients and delivery system. Instead it had 2 women talking about when young they didn’t take off their makeup before bed or used soap and water on their face. The implication seems to be that this Boots range can repair that damage. I just shout at the screen that it’s not the same skin cells as they come off and new ones take over! Tell me what the products actually do, as the only hint is one woman saying of past behaviour ‘our poor dry skin” which implies the products moisturise, which you’d expect from skin creams. Older women aren’t stupid so tell us why this is a game-changer. Also, on ITVX, the ad plays really often but they have removed the soap and water comment so it makes less sense to me.Aqua (Water), C12-15 alkyl benzoate, Glycerin, Octocrylene, Ethylhexyl salicylate, Butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, Dibutyl adipate, Bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine, Methylene bis-benzotriazolyl tetramethylbutylphenol (nano), Polyglyceryl-6 Stearate, Propanediol, Ethylhexyl triazone, Tribehenin, Niacinamide, Aluminum starch octenylsuccinate, Ammonium acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP copolymer, Phenoxyethanol, Butyrospermum parkii (Shea) butter, Cetearyl alcohol, Tocopheryl acetate, Potassium cetyl phosphate, Decyl glucoside, Panthenol, Polysorbate 20, Caprylyl glycol, Caprylhydroxamic acid, Parfum (Fragrance), Xanthan gum, Sodium hyaluronate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hydrolyzed rice protein, Propylene glycol, Dipropylene glycol, Ascorbyl glucoside, Polyglyceryl-6 behenate, Tetrasodium EDTA, Potassium hydroxide, T-butyl alcohol, Pentylene glycol, Sodium benzoate, Morus alba leaf extract, Palmitoyl tetrapeptide-94, Palmitoyl tetrapeptide-95.

As I say, it’s only been a week but that’s when No7's testers saw first results. Right now my undereyes look… quite good, I guess? A bit smoother, I’d say. And my skin does generally feel softer and a bit more bouncy. Whether that’s a hydration thing at this stage, or an early super-peptide bonus I can’t really comment but I’ll take it either way. Protect & Perfect, you may well have competition in my affections. I don’t have any issue with the word ‘damage’ being used, because I know I’ve damaged my own skin over the years. I have some scarring from where I couldn’t leave a spot alone and ended up with a permanent red mark. I also know that I damaged skin on my forehead when I used a chemical exfoliant one day and the next ended up going and standing outside my house in midday sun and ended up with a burned stripe just below my hairline. It’s still visible nearly 10 years later. Saying my skin is damaged isn’t a pejorative, it’s just a realistic assessment of some issues I still can see, years after causing something to affect the condition of my skin.
