About this deal

Crunchy, sweet oaty goodness – these homemade chocolate hobnobstastes so much better than the ones you buy in the shops!

It’s time to bust the myth of the gluten free Hobnob… do they really exist or are they like the LochNess monster? Well, I’ve got great news for you… gluten free Hobnobs are 100% coming to our supermarketsthis month! I must admit that I haven’t had a hobnob in years, but I still remember exactly how delicious they taste! So crunchy and sweet. Since chocolate makes any dessert taste better in my opinion, it’s not a surprise thatI likechocolate hobnobs even more. They’redangerouslyaddictive!I love to use raw local honey for this recipe this is not vegan so use other sweeteners like, coconut blossom nectar, maple syrup, brown rice syrup or agave.

Stamp out rounds using a plain cutter and place the biscuits on the tray. You can re roll the dough to cut out more biscuits. Absolutely! Feel free to add your favourite mix-ins to the hob nobs. You can add chocolate chips, dried fruits, or coconut to enhance the flavour and texture. Just be mindful of any dietary restrictions or allergies when choosing your mix-ins. It seems like elevenses just got a little bit more exciting for gluten-free foodies! Milk Chocolate Hobnobs ingredients Overall, it's a zesty and delicious dessert - not too sweet and light enough that you can eat a good wedge of it - and it's super easy to make gluten free. And you could also cheat by buying a can of whipped cream but honestly I think making your own is much nicer and really easy too. Can you make a gluten free dairy free banoffee pie? Add the condensed milk and lime juice and zest to the egg yolks and beat with the electric mixer again for another minute.

Because let's face it, the delight in making dessert is that you get to raid the leftovers, right!? If you want to make a gluten free dairy free banoffee pie or even a gluten free vegan banoffee pie you can do so with a few tweaks.I don’t think I’ve ever seen these so cheap – I found them for just 99p!! I almost fainted – and when I say fainted, I mean ‘I almost filled my trolley with about 10 boxes’. I have a weird definition of common words apparently. That’s what’s in Aldi’s new gluten free range of Special Buys! Originally the dessert is made from its namesake, Key Limes, which are grown in the Florida Keys and are supposedly more aromatic and yellow in colour than the Persian limes we commonly find in UK supermarkets. I was soooo gutted I couldn’t find this in my Aldi because it’s actually quite a big deal for me as gluten free pasta is NEVER in Aldi. Usually, I can’t buy gf bread OR pasta in there – I often end up having to go to two supermarkets in a day to get everything I need which is a real pain. Once the hob nobs have cooled completely, store them in an airtight container at room temperature. They should stay fresh for up to one week. If you prefer a crispier texture, leave the container open for a few hours before sealing it. United Biscuits said the high proportion of naturally gluten-free oats in McVitie’s Hobnobs “allowed the recipe to be converted without any compromise” on the biscuits’ taste and texture.
