And of course, no holiday to Fife would be complete without a spectacular boat trip to the breathtaking Isle of May National Nature Reserve from neighbouring Anstruther. Or how about a Scotland camping tour with a theme? Plot a scenic road trip along the North Coast 500, challenge yourself to complete one of Scotland’s best hiking routes (the glorious 96-mile West Highland Way is a classic) or take a leisurely meander along the Speyside malt whisky trail. One of the most scenic rail journeys in the world is on the West Highland Railway Line. Climb to the top of the extinct volcano, Arthur’s Seat which perches above the city and is visible from most places. It’s a relatively easy hike for most and gives you a good view of the city and surrounding area.Take a tour of the city to get your bearings.
