About this deal

The property is lovely and ideal to use as a base for exploring this beautiful part of the country. It is very clean and mostly modern, the bathroom and shower room are tired and and there was only small towels (not bath towels) to use. We had everything to make a fire left for us on the first night but no matches or fire lighters to light it. We enjoyed it the next day when we bought some. The fridge wasn't turned on which took us a while to realise. No big deal but our food wasn't straight into a cold fridge. Aside of those little things, the hot tub and the views were fantastic, there are walks straight from the door on the farmland ( we didnt get to go as it was the weekend Eunice and Franklin arrived which made it very windy and wet) but we didn't go for the weather and the cottage gave us an enjoyable family weekend away. The Nags head 1 mile away provided us with a fantastic lunch too. Thank you This is a list of some of the main characters that appeared over the 11-year run. In some cases more than one actor played the part. [22] [23] [24] [25] Enjoy the seaside delights of nearby Bridlington and Filey with their long sandy beaches, good eateries and numerous shops, be sure to visit Bempton Cliffs bird sanctuary, with its spectacular colonies of nesting seabirds on the limestone cliffs, take a bracing cliff-top walk around Flamborough Head, or visit the many historic houses in the area such as Sewerby Hall, Burton Agnes Hall and Sledmere House.

The gardens outside the cottage are absolutely beautiful, with a very large area at the bottom where you can play games, we took our 4yr old grandson who loved playing there. Surrounded by the gentle rolling countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds, this Bridlington cottage makes a good base to explore the area. Saturday-Night Theatre: The Ropewalk . . . Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. We had a lovely week exploring the surrounding countryside, beaches and villages. Waggoner's Cottage is very well situated, yet, it's so quiet and peaceful! The owners are very friendly and helpful. Exceptionally clean and seemed like entering home, very comfortable. The views were stunning and quite surprised us how love these were. Hot-tub fantastic and although unfortunately we were not there long we had a fabulous time. Would definately book again. Beautiful. The cottage has spectacular views and is set in a calm and peaceful location but is in easy reach of Newtown and Welshpool with the coast being around an hours car journey away. The only noises likely to be heard are the baaing of the sheep and the mooing of the cows along with birdsong..This is so lovely to listen to. Sunsets and sunrises are beautiful. The cottage had everything that you would need, also the kitchen had all you would need to cook meals, the decor throughout was very good including fresh flowers. fresh milk, bread, biscuits were there for us as well as tea and coffee. Information on all the appliances was in the kitchen and plenty of information on places to visit and the owners were on hand if you needed them. Would definitely recommend this cottage, and would be glad to return again. It was a real home from home. And plenty of places to visit in the area.

Waggoners cottage is in a beautiful position on a working farm with wonderful far reaching views to the rolling hills of Wales." Can’t thank Mrs Tilsley enough, she was a lovely host and gave us some beautiful blue fresh eggs, which were so tasty."Hot tub is amazing although we took our own gazebo for shelter against the rain. Highly recommended

The views are fantastic, and the host was so friendly and couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome." The only comment that I would make is as it is a working farm ask for fly spray as a lot of flies get in the property! Ben Woodhouse, the local GP who later marries Soo-Ming. Played mainly by David Valla and sometimes by Derek Seaton. After an enticing day of exploring the gorgeous countryside and fascinating towns, take time to relax with your loved ones together in the open-plan living area, enjoying the TV or simply a chat around the charming woodburner.Waggoners' Walk". Had everything you could need in the cottage and the hot tub was lush!. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming..cannot recommend highly enough As part of a series of cost-cutting initiatives by the BBC in 1980, Waggoners' Walk came to an abrupt end on 30 May 1980 [13] [14] with a cliffhanger ending in which George Underdown proposes marriage to Sophie Richmond and assures her that "you have all the time in the world" before the closing theme comes in. [15] The Corporation received more than 1,000 letters of protest [16] about the ending of the programme. It rejected a request from Capital Radio to take it over. Cameo appearances A really comfortable and cosy cottage, situated in peaceful and relaxing grounds, it is highly recommended. A perfect base from which to explore the surrounding area.
