About this deal

Far more exciting on the features front is the inclusion of both of the currently available dynamic metadata HDR formats: Dolby Vision and HDR10+.

JX850:This LCD model features Panasonic’s HDR Bright Panel Plus with HDR10+, HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision support. Here the chip is downgraded to the HCX AI Processor. It’s hardly frills-free, as it has advanced AI upscaling, Filmmaker mode and HDMI 2.1 next-gen gaming features. What’s more, that clarity and precision lends a decent degree of spaciousness to the sound. The speakers do an excellent job of firing the sound out to the sides of the viewing position. With that audio nice and clear, it means that those sweeping wide effects, such as Ajax’s motorbike zipping across the carriageway, are not lost in the fog. Make sure not to position this TV too far into an alcove or there’s a danger of losing these effects. The MZ2000 features the next level of picture tech in the Micro Lens Array OLED panel, which aims to offer high amounts of HDR peak brightness when combined with Panasonic’s own bespoke multi-layer heat management solution. The step up in peak brightness is said to be up to 150% more compared to the 2022 OLEDs. The 77-inch model does not feature the same OLED panel as the other sizes. Because none of the above models are actually available just yet, let’s also take a look at the options from 2021 that are still on sale and for considerably cheaper than they were last year. LZ1000: The LZ1000 uses the same processor as the two models above it but its Master OLED panel is a step down in terms of quality. It has plenty of other things going for it, however, with HDMI 2.1 ports that support next-gen gaming features, Cinema Surround Pro audio, Dolby Atmos and a swivelling stand. There’s no obvious equivalent to the MZ800 in Panasonic’s 2022 range, making this model an all new entry within the OLED fleet. Batteries are not included. You will require 2 x AAA batteries to operate Genuine Panasonic N2QBYA000038 TX-40JX800B TV Remote TX-50JX800B TX-65JX800B. Credit subject to status and affordability. As mentioned, the HX800 supports the four main HDR standards, namely HDR10, HDR10+, the broadcast-friendly HLG and Dolby Vision. For a TV of this price, that’s a rarity.Dimensions, weight and color Information about the dimensions and the weight of the specific model with and without stand as well as the colors, in which it is offered to the market. Width All of this year’s Panasonic OLEDs use OLED.EX panel technology. This sees the hydrogen elements found in typical OLED displays replaced with deuterium, a heavier compound capable of emitting stronger light. There are various panel technologies. Each has its own specific features - viewing angles, color reproduction, response time, brightness/contrast, production cost, etc. The image quality depends directly on the type of the display panel used. The pixel pitch shows the distance from the centers of two neighboring pixels. In displays, which have a native resolution (the TFT ones, for example), the pixel pitch depends on the resolution and the size of the screen.

Compared to the MZ980 there’s a boost in sizes, 42- to 65-inches, though this series appears to drop the HCX Pro AI processor for Panasonic’s 4K Color Engine Pro. What could that mean for the picture? As of now we’re not sure, but we suspect the finer colour handling and brightness of the above models won’t be as possible for the MZ800. In 2021, Panasonic introduced an Auto AI mode capable of adjusting picture quality based on the genre of content being displayed. Its 2022 TVs will be able to detect genres faster than before but the LZ2000 will also now factor in the ambient colour temperature of a room to deliver an improved experience in different lighting conditions. LZ980: Available in four screen sizes, the LZ980 uses Panasonic’s premium processor but makes do with the basic OLED panel configuration. It includes almost all of the other features found on the LZ1000, but gets a stand that doesn’t swivel. Energy consumption XYZ kWh per year, based on the power consumption of the television operating 4 hours per day for 365 days. The actual energy consumption will depend on how the television is used.Did you know that you can easily cast Netflix shows from your smartphones to your Panasonic TV? Just connect both devices to Wi-Fi. Tap on the Cast icon, and ready to go. Why don’t you give it a try with Netflix’s latest series? Though the Panasonic HX800 doesn’t support next-gen HDMI 2.1 gaming features like Variable Refresh Rate and 4K 120Hz, it does at least offer ALLM (Auto Low-Latency Mode) for activating the TV’s Game Mode and reducing input lag – last year’s GX800 delivered ultra-fast response times of just 15ms. LZ800: The LZ800 is Panasonic’s cheapest OLED in 2022 and as such, is the least well-specced. The panel is of the basic OLED variety, while Cinema Surround replaces Cinema Surround Pro. HDMI 2.1 features are still supported, however, as are Dolby Atmos, Filmmaker mode, Dolby Vision IQ and Auto AI picture processing. Information of the number of pixels in a unit of length. With the decrease of the display size and the increase of its resolution, the pixel density increases. This Dolby Atmos-enabled TV is fitted with a pair of standard 10W speakers, but what comes out is more impressive than most. It’s no match for even an entry-level soundbar, which we would still highly recommend, but Panasonic has tuned this limited audio equipment with a sensible balance.

HID (Human Interface Device Profile) compliant keyboards are available. A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) compliant audio devices are available. The Bluetooth® word mark and logos are owned by the Bluetooth SIG, Inc. and any use of such marks by Panasonic Corporation is under license. As far as we can tell, the MZ700 looks virtually identical to the MZ800, serving as the entry-level base for Panasonic’s OLED screens. Apparently this model doesn’t have HDR10+ and the sound system is different (the MZ800 is a subwoofer). Panasonic TV 4K LCD LED MX950
