We really love the sunroom design and enjoy the space of the open plan kitchen. We would recommend FK1 Design to our friends and family and anyone who is looking for a friendly, experienced architect.
FK1 Design Ltd were very professional from start to finish, helping me with my planning application for my garden workshop. Barry was very honest regarding timescales etc and he always answered my questions promptly and in a friendly manner. I would be very happy to use them again and like to recommend FK1 Design to anyone needing an architectural technician. All commissary applications will be processed locally within all of the courts within Tayside Central and Fife.The area of the FK1 postcode district is 41.90 square miles which is 108.52 square kilometres or 26,814.86 acres. Barry did plans for our garage conversion and extension. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He listened to what we wanted but also had some great ideas. His timescales for doing the work were great and he responded to questions from the council about the applications immediately. Friendly guy and very professional. This is identical comments to the previous review as I agree entirely. He’s a great help to people who have no idea what’s involved like us. We are extremely happy with the outcome. Barry helped us through the full process and regularly liaised with the builders as they were working through the conversion.
FK1 Design undertake Architectural and design works to all types of buildings including domestic extensions, conversions, new build houses, commercial buildings, garden buildings etc. You name it and they can design it! We would highly recommend Barry to anyone looking for an architect. His knowledge & experience is exceptional. The added value he brings is his exceptional customer service. His communication is prompt & clear & was invaluable to us. Our builder really let us down & it was Barry that kept us sane & got us over the line. The principal bedroom is positioned to the rear of the property, this spacious room is tastefully decorated with white walls complemented with a navy feature wall, carpeted for optimal comfort, and is supplemented by generous built-in wardrobes. Bedrooms two and three are both sizeable double rooms, with plush grey carpets and built in storage. Completing this lovely property is the family bathroom, fitted with a four-piece suite comprising bath, separate shower cubicle, toilet and sink. Gas central heating and double glazing are found throughout.Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. There was no complications when discussing it with Barry, he understood exactly what we wanted. He also has a good amount of patience (we were constantly adding and changing things). From the very first phone call with Barry things went very smoothly. Barry was very professional and knowledgeable and also came up with some excellent ideas for our kitchen and lounge extension. He dealt with the full application process, from completing the drawings to obtaining the planning permission and building warrant through to the issuing of our completion certificate. Barry also liaised with our builder as required throughout the build. Working with Barry was a pleasure from start to finish and I would have no hesitation in working with him again.
Excellent thorough service. Talked me through the whole process and kept me right about what I needed. Would have been lost without their help. Would definitely use again. Outside to the rear is the garden, designed for easy maintenance; it is mostly paved and there is a large timber shed / workshop for outside storage. The property has 3 generously proportioned bedrooms on the first floor that are beautifully presented and 2 have fitted wardrobes. The stunning kitchen overlooks the rear garden and has lots of storage and integrated oven, hob, dishwasher and fridge freezer. The cupboard in the kitchen is set up as a utility space with a washing machine.Barry did plans for our renovation work and extension. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He listened to what we wanted but also had some great ideas. His timescales for doing the work were great and he responded to questions from the council about the applications immediately. Friendly guy and very professional. Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate. In dealing with Barry from the point of my first phone call, I can only say that is has been a pleasure. Not only have I saved a lot of time in the design/approval process, I feel I have someone who is more than willing to go above and beyond and assist with anything required (especially the uneducated questions from people like myself). Pleasure to deal with and would 100% recommend him to friends and family undertaking similar work. And that’s all she wrote, when it comes to inputs. Nice and simple. There’s also a DPI button on the underside of the mouse, since this is a driverless model that doesn’t require software and thus needs to make all its features accessible mechanically, and I’ll cover that button down in the performance section.
