Both within the core and beyond its fringes, the rift's advent has driven the Kin into new conflicts, as well as stirring up old foes and setting them on a collision course with the Leagues. In 10th edition, enemy units will only gain a Judgment token when they destroy a Votann unit – that’s a lot more miserly than in 9th edition, when tokens were handed out like party treats. The effect of the tokens is also restricted. Votann units get +1 to hit enemy units with one Judgment token, and an additional +1 to wound targets with two tokens. Those are great buffs, but compared to 9th edition, when enough Judgment tokens turned half of your hits into automatic wounds, they’re not so impressive. To manifest the psychic power, you must first pass a Psychic test. The opposing player can then select one of their PSYKER units that is within 24" of the PSYKER unit attempting to manifest the power and attempt to deny that power before its effects are resolved by passing a Deny the Witch test. Obsyd Gate (Hold World) - Obsyd Gate is situated in the northern region of Thurian space, and lies on a major Kin trade hub. Obsyd Gate is the hold of the Kindred of Vôrtun and is the birthplace of the famed Thurian hero and kâhl Ûthar the Destined. One such raging empyric maelstrom opened upon the north-eastern fringe of Greater Thurian League space, and was soon named "Örgvayr" -- roughly translating into High Gothic as "the Ogre." The Void Strider Kindred and Lâkhryr's Kindred were swallowed up in the instant of its opening. Their pan spectral arrays gave some small forewarning, and so ragged flotillas of Kin refugee ships limped from the fringes of Warp Storm Örgvayr solar days after its emergence, their passangers telling of holds dissolved into raw madness or overrun by howling Daemons.
