About this deal

Colossians 1:16 tn BDAG 579 s.v. κυριότης 3 suggests “ bearers of the ruling powers, dominions” here. In short, if I had tried the perfume directly in the store, it would have landed on the shelf again for the time being, the opening failed in my eyes, everything else in the course of the fragrance is pleasant, not intrusive, I would call it easy. However, this is indeed 99% as close as it could be to Aventus. It has the lemon, the pineapple, the birch, smoky and sweet vanilla notes. Totally my favorite clone so far of all the Aventus's clone I have tried CDNI, IP2, Zara Vibrant leather.... Now to the scent. What can I say that hasn't already been said? This one's potent -- probably not quite as much as the OG, but it's in the ballpark in that and pretty much every other way. It opens with a delightfully dark, resinous and green-tinged smokiness that immediately brings forth a sense of smouldering oregano and a very clean "oud" wood base. That may sound a bit weird, but trust me, it works. It's a tad bitter and herbaceous in addition to the other sensations mentioned -- and as a whole, just stunning, right out of the bottle. I’ve tried many SMW clones and this is my favourite by a long shot. Although none were able to be 1:1 clones, this one came quite close. Afnan did an amazing job at replicating its essence. I’d say it’s 85% similar to Creed’s.

By the way: the ressemblance to Creed is no more than 20%, and clearly the intent was to to create something different. Nobody will link this to Creed, or say "Wa, is it Creed ??" If anyone wants a comparison between this and Club de Nuit Intense Parfum Limited Edition, here are my thoughts on the two: The opening is super herbal, it's very VERY strong. It's like you lit an oregano leaf on fire and it got so mad that it punched you in the face. It's super intense and medicinal, so definitely go easy on the trigger. The mid of the fragrance is a transition where the incense gets darker but the whole composition gets sweeter in stages. I also get a lot of woods and a very mild sweet leather that still has the spices intermingled. I don't get much patch but that's fine. The drydown here is even better than the fragrance is copying, at least to my memory.

Initial impression - surprised. The opening is super strong, reminds me of barbecue sauce. The smoke and spices are really prominent. Not sure yet if I like it or don't. It has the strength and potency of a beast-mode fragrance, but it is very different from typical fragrances. Initial thought: do I want to smell like barbecue sauce? (some other reviewer mentioned the opening smells like Lalique Encre Noire - it is not even close, LEN is all about vetiver). Just another hidden gem from Afnan. Third bottle from the brand in my collection and I still get surprised of the super high quality they deliver. Afnan Supremacy Incense is way less smoky than expected, and dries down to be surprisingly sweet/vanilla like. If you are expecting charred wood smoke, or a more aggressive ashy smoke, this is not it. More of a smooth incense, further tempered by the warm, sweet and smooth notes swirling around. After all, it smells quite cheap to my nose and not better at all than cdnim. It’s a completely different fragrance though, so don’t buy it if youre searching for an Aventus clone. Also, hacivat is a lot brighter, has no smoke and no berry notes. Supremacy NOI is somewhere in between but can‘t reach the quality of both of them. Having said that, Not only intense is a Hacivat clone, or at least it is closer to it than Aventus, very very close, with a different and interesting drydown, pleasant but different, you don't see saffron in the base notes very often.

I don't get it why people complain on longevity,, it honestly the same performance like red tobaco by mancera maybe bit more longevity so this is a freaking beast.. the base note doesn't go away event after taking like 3 baths idk if it's skin chemistry or what but I do sure don't want wear this perfume on dailys and working out but will wear in special occasion The performance isn’t anything to write home about. It is a scent that I love smelling on myself and I think that is why I become nose blind to it after two hours. However, others can still smell it on me for more than six hours after applying it, while others state that it is more of a skin scent around the 2 hour mark… However, I can smell it on clothes days after as well, so maybe it’s just my skin chemistry. In terms of quality, I'd say this smells better than CDNI, L'Aventure, and Insurrection II Pure. It's on par with Rasasi's Rumz 9325 (Zebra), which is IMO the best-smelling Aventus clone out there, but is unfortunately only available in 50ml bottles. Supremacy Silver can be had for around the same price, but for twice the amount of fragrance, so there's another thing to keep in mind. I have never smelled Amouage Interlude but discovered Afnan while searching Aventus inspired fragrances. Afnan Supremacy Silver is a great scent lalso. So I blind bought ASI as the price point was amazing coupled with my love of Arabic scents. P.S: I also have supremacy not only intense .. that one I wouldn't say an exact clone of aventus .. they're pretty different. But in oud is really close to OFG maybe some notes are amplified on this one but generally you can call it a clone Colossians 1:15 tn The genitive construction πάσης κτίσεως ( pasēs ktiseōs) is a genitive of subordination and is therefore translated as “over all creation.” See ExSyn 103-4.

This is same scent as Dylan's blue and montblanc explorer, Not that impressed but I love it's top notes tho bit screechy, fruity, really fresh but after 6+ hours it smells bitter 95% same as Dylan blue and explorer but this Afnan is much more way above stronger to the point it smells bitter like a sweat (if you ever smell someone smells bitter after working out or hard work) Afnan has slightly better longevity. Projection initially is a bit less in reach, but timewise it projects for longer... if that makes sense This scent is just so sure of itself. It's old, it's wise, it's bold, it's well rounded and experienced. It lives in the dusty catacombs of a cold victorian castle and it hasn't seen the daylight in decades. It's been through a lot.

I actually prefer the smell of this over Aventus, which I've sampled before. I have no say on how it compares to Nishane Hacivat, as I have yet to try it, but I'm sure it's similar.I’ve layered this with so many frags but like 5:1 ratio and it really works I think it makes them all more powerful, I get more people complimenting and asking me what I’m wearing . I never actually tell them as I feel I would sound like a plebb talking about layering different frags lol . The norms don’t get this shit like us frag heads lol. The dry down is where this frag really shines. By the time it dries down most of the oregano is gone, and so is the herbal tone. You're left with this gorgeous woody, ambery, spicy, dry, dark smoke. If you think you like it based on the notes, i don't think you'll be disappointed. It's not what you expect because you can't expect this. Whatever you're imagining right now, amp it up 10x and that's about what you'll get when you actually smell it. It's great! Only if you go smell your skin where you apply it you get a veeeery tiny lemon pledge vibe on the lemon note. Feels a bit cheap. But it's almost unnoticeable even if you sniff it intensively on the skin. I bought it when it was released for 35€ and i think that’s what it‘s worth. Would not pay more and save up for hacivat.
