About this deal

The bonus question can be answered by anyone in the group playing. The person who answers the bonus question correctly will keep the card the questions were asked from. Board games are a big thing in our house, we love to sit around the table as a family and play something together. It is not only good entertainment, it can be lots of fun and an excellent way to spend quality family time together. What better way to spend those cold, dark winter evenings than with some good friends or family, letting your competitive streak loose but mostly enjoying an evening of fun. Alternative keyboard layouts supported ControlsThere are several control schemes, of which you can combine in any way you like. We all agreed that we will definitely be playing it at Christmas with the extended family. I recommend that you go out and buy one now as a Christmas present for the whole family.

We decided to play it after dinner. As I was writing a review for the game I asked if we could play for a minimum of a few rounds as I knew that everyone had to work the next day so they might not feel like a long game -well I needn’t have bothered as we all loved playing it. We played all evening- we kept saying just one more round and then found it irresistibly drawing us in for more. Players only have three seconds to answer the question. If they don’t get it within the three seconds allotted, then it goes to the next player.Samantha Goodburn, the Marketing Manager at Gibsons, said the following in September 2021 in an interview with Toy World Mag :

This cheeky, fast-paced trivia game will put you to the test, producing a whole host of amusing tongue-in-cheek results. Sounds confusing, right? You’re not wrong: it is at first, but it’s amazingly fun to try and test your brain to answer the previous question and remember the current one for the next round, whilst your friends or family sit and watch in thorough enjoyment. We can guarantee that with this trivia game, you will be in for a barrel of laughs. This cheeky quiz will make for a perfect card game to have in your arsenal, or as a terrific birthday gift or Christmas gift this year!

This trivia card game is by Gibsons, for ages 14 onwards and two to six players. It comes in a compact and neat box that is great for travel. The box also acts as the scoreboard. Inside the box, it comes with six scoring arrow cards, 100 double-sided question cards and an instruction card.

It is the perfect card game to test your knowledge, whilst providing you with the fun to make your evening even more exciting. And of course, you can add in your own rules to the game if you want, like setting a time limit for every single round, which can make it even more fun when playing against a trivia whiz! So for example, you only have 30 seconds to answer all of the questions. What is particularly appealing is that a complete game does not take long as you progress the number of correct answers on each turn (there’s a possibility of 6) and so to get to the finish line of 20 correct answers takes an outstanding player a maximum of four turns. This meant we could play several games in the evening. This is an easy game to enjoy anywhere as all you need is in the box- a great game to take on holiday. To get the best out of the game, it is better to have the full complement of six players. We enjoyed it with 2 and 4 players but the more the merrier. The entire game opens, closes, and flows like a movie and plays like a comedic episode of "The Twilight Zone" while throwing the player into an odd world resembling a surrealistic artist's painting, filled with the craziest and most varied and unnerving assortment of characters imaginable. Depending on the number of questions the player answers correctly, they will progress around the board to the same number of points. Each correctly answered question is worth one point. This trivia game is the first-ever party game to be created by yours truly: Gibsons! We created this in collaboration with Board Game Club founder Lesley Singleton, plus creative consultant Deej Johnson and Billy Langsworthy of Mojo Nation to create the perfect after dinner party game. An excellent party game that is simple to play, great fun and perfect for Christmas get-togethers, birthdays, game nights or any other gathering/festivity where you have your friends and family around. On opening the box I found some coloured cardboard arrows that were designed like paper clips- these were a clever concept as they are used around the side of the box by each player to advance from Start to Finish as each time you get a question correct you move a space forward. There are trivia cards with 6 questions and the idea is that you have to give the answer from the question before…with very funny consequences because of the way the questions are planned.

Once arranged correctly, you’ll be rewarded with coins. Use these coins to buy items from the shop. Items make completing levels much easier. Higher rounds yield cheaper items and more coins. How many rounds will you survive? Features: This makes for some hilarious trivia answers that seem bonkers, but it’s time to embrace the silly side. Okay, last one. Consider this situation from the game. You have a pen, and Hurlong refuses to use it to write on just about anything for most of the game. Now, through various manipulations by you of the computer system, you are given three(!) applications for a dating service. You need to get Sylvia out of her apartment and also get Urban Leopard out of the Doctor's basement. So what do we do? We set them up on a date! So far so good! Now, we BS them both into filling out two of the date applications intending to file them with the computer on level 162 of the apartment building, and you have one blank left. Which one are you going to try to use the pen on? The ones that are already filled out, or the one that is blank? Of course, logic and reasoning tells us to fill out the one that's blank...In the case of a tie-breaker at the end of the game, the player with the most cards at the end of the game wins.
