The major difference to me seems to be the noodles; this Paldo brand has ramen noodles while Nong Shim has air-dried, chewy noodles. It’s interesting a very different; it’s cold noodles with a slightly apple tasting and spicy flavor. This was one such variety but I finally found it at a new Asian market I found today out of nowhere across from 99 Ranch Market in Edmonds.

Judging from the common prefix of bibim , and how I've mentioned that the Chinese word for wheat noodles is mien , for the sake of the blog let's assume that this is the Korean derivation of mixed noodles.
