One thing that I really don’t like about the Naturehike Cloud Up is that the back is narrower than the front. Our two backpacks got cramped up in the small vestibule, so this would not be a good recommendation except maybe for car camping. Even just one person can also easily set up the tent with instructions attached to the inside of the outer bag. Waterproof performance: waterproof performance itself depends on the tent surface silicon coating, and fabric material has nothing to do with.
The first night we used it a unexpected rain and high wind storm happened and it held fast and did very good. None of these are necessarily deal-breakers, provided you’re aware of them, but we can’t help but feel that if you can stretch to a higher budget there are better overall options out there. The low volume of the packed tent is a real bonus when it comes to packing for a trip as it can allow you to choose a smaller and lighter backpack – or simply bring more stuff.
