Then it smelled so sweet with peaches (I love peaches ) and vanilla and coconut and it's like a bowl of sweet rice pudding with a little floral around the edges. I keep on trying it every once and a while, in case my taste (or the perfume itself) has changed, but no luck. It had the slightest touch of juicy ripe plums but the fruit and vanilla accords were not nearly as prominent as I thought they'd be. For me,it opens with juicy red apple and bambo which adds a crisp,fresh and green woody quality to scent which I find pleasant. This is definitely a fragrance to short list if you're looking for an affordable product for daily use.The fragrance is available in a 100ml spray bottle and is perfect for daily wear, adding a touch of fun and femininity to your outfit. It's a little too fruity to be a vintage powdery scent, but it's not far off during the drydown, which seems to last a good while. I believe this perfume is more targeted towards Katy Perry's age demographic: young adults (and up). I can't even describe what exactly it is I smell but it reminds me of some smell from my childhood, maybe it was a bubble bath or a scented kids toy or something. my cat Tina (mom) gave this to me as a Xmas gift one year so I bought the pink one also in a large because it's a decorative bottle.

I think if that initial blast of plastic peach was toned down a little then this would be a solid like for me; as it is, I am wavering because it's not the worst thing I've smelled, but it's just so. As a grown woman it's not the type of bottle I would choose to display, but I do see the fun and playfulness in it. Yara has been compared to a 'strawberry milkshake', and Purr would be the violet milkshake by comparison. This smells like Fancy by Jessica Simpson but devoid of all the richness that makes Fancy such a cozy, decadent perfume. Before Purr, I turned my nose up at celebrity fragrances, assumed they were all terrible, and bought designer only.It's perfect for when you step out of the shower and still want to smell clean but more noticeable, and despite what others may say I do not find it generic. I don’t personally associate Purr with beach or tropical scents, and would describe it as more sweet and relatively safe but unmemorable, although I find the dry down a bit unpleasantly synthetic. There are so many peaches and cream scents and bamboo/coconut scents, but this is the best of all four. That white floral heart is flavored with peach and vanilla, dusted with sweet powder, and topped off with a light sprinkle of coconut shavings. It smells like someone threw up in a car and tried to clean it up but they didn't get it all and this car has been sitting in the sun on a hot day - get in that car and take a big sniff and that's what this perfume is.
