The Firefly board game is marking its 10th anniversary with a collector’s edition that packs in everything ever released for the board game, plus a new expansion and some fancy upgrades to its components. If you scrape along, spending every last bit of money you can earn, and then finally hit it big with a risky job, that feels exciting. Given that Universal aren’t actually doing much with the Serenity license I find it perplexing that they didn’t grant Gale Force Nine the right to use material from the film.

Sure, you could fly over to Persephone and draw three random cards in the hope of finding something fantastic, but why do that when you know you can acquire a fantastic pilot in the form of Wash over at the Space Bazaar, and perhaps find something else cool by drawing two blinders? According to the latest FAQ, you can use a Deal action and pick up as many Passengers and/or Fugitives as you want when docked at the Space Bazaar.
