About this deal

I have the flashback 6 and it´s awesome (I think they have added only one game each for the last two updated ones). Caverns of Mars (reason given: removed because apparently there was an off the books side contract with the original APX author. The gold model (Model No: AR3080) includes two wired standard controllers, two wired paddle controllers and 130 games.

You should be good to close everything out, make sure to power the system off now, and when you turn it on and hook up the HDMI your new game should be on there and ready to play. Now, the collecting nerd that I am went ahead and wikipediad the flashback series, printed out the comparative checklist of all the different versions, cross referenced it with the Switch version of Atari Flashback classics with which games that are missing on this versus that and then I will cross-reference that to the games on other versions of Flashback. The neat thing about having such a huge collection on one console is finding hidden gems you didn’t know about.a few title typos have crept in (Ex: Combat Two is spelled accurately onscreen, but as " Combat 2" in the manual). Contains the same games as the Gold version, but also includes 2 wired paddles in addition to two wireless joysticks. Unfortunately this would not be the end of it, for the same people responsible for the first 2 Flashbacks had one more variation to dump on us 5 years later. Polaris, Shield Shifter, and Space Invaders were removed - no more compromised arcade versions, and only 1 homebrew and 3 hacks. The text on the switch panel isn't painted on but instead is a large sticker, which didn't hold up for very long.

As a lifelong gamer I have to admit, right now feels like the most interesting moment in gaming history. The same applies to Space Invaders if I remember correctly, because the arcade version's name is also hard coded, so any entry with "Space Invaders" will play the arcade version instead of the Atari version. Connect it to your computer and If all went right it should pop up (make sure to plug in and power on the Atari first) and now you can put it all back together. Fortunately, AtGames has used the time since to tweak overall performance and revamp the user interface.

This included a set of replica Atari 2600 paddles, five collectible posters, and a copy of the original Atari joystick patent signed by Nolan Bushnell.
