Jay has five books published by Dreamspinner Press, and he also self-publishes under the imprint Jaybird Press. Sometimes the angst can be overwhelming in a short story and you don't get much time with guys actually being together.
How about… we tell her I was struggling with a particularly hard assignment one night, and you gave me a helping hand, and then one thing led to another. Let's assume you had a friend who was in car accident (or whatever) and while he was fine, and able to rest and recuperate at home, he had very limited uses of his hands and arms. I've found that usually when it's a short friends-to-lovers tale, the friendship gets buried under the smut. So again they did and at some point, in this weekly basis jerking off entertainment, they started to be aware of each other and couldn’t resist sneaking the occasion look sideways lusting after each other tools.Thankfully, Jez and Mac come to the conclusion that they don't really care what others want to label them. it reminded me a little bit of Want Me by Neve Wilder where, although the sexual aspect of their relationship played a huge role in the story, both mcs and their dynamic were enough for me to enjoy the story bc they still had cute moments (as well as the jealousy bits 😌) that had me grinning so much.
To be fair, there was also a bit of sweet romance with some genuinely tender moments, and I really liked both Jez and Mac.His stories involve college, sports, best friends, first time, straight to gay, punishment, and threesome experiences. This book is both a retrospective history of the gay community's use of electronic media as a way of networking and creating a sense of community, and an examination of the current situation, an analysis and critical assessment of gay/lesbian electronic media.
This was such a yummy read, I truly enjoyed reading about how these two sweet but sexy young men got together.Keith is the coauthor with Robert Hilliard of Waves of Rancor (1999) and The Broadcast Century and Beyond (2001), and also the author of the most widely adopted textbook on radio in America, The Radio Station, now in its fifth edition (2000). It also reflects on the challenges posed to such an agenda by current economic difficulties and changes in the organisation of adult social care in the UK. Having injured both his arms and unable to do much of anything, he finds himself in an exit-exam in his doctor's office - eyeing the cute, blonde, male doctor's assistant. I think maybe if we had been privy to his thoughts I would've felt more of a connection between them. For every *fans self* it’s getting hot in here moment she balances it with a *squeee* aren’t they the cutest!
Prior to joining Boston College, Keith served as chair of education for the Museum of Broadcast Communications in Chicago, taught at George Washington University and Marquette University, and worked as a professional broadcaster for over a dozen years. Possibly-bisexual Jez and his straight housemate Mac royally fucked up their finances and grades by partying too hard the previous year, so they made a pact to stay home and avoid partying this year.
