Versatile in how you decide to feed them, Black Sunflower Seeds can be offered from any type of feeder or simply scattered on the ground.

When you offer the organic black sunflower seeds, almost all birds will peel them themselves to eat the core. This variety has grown bigger and faster than the other 3 varieties I’m growing and has been the first to bloom. Due to the way that Black Sunflower Seed is harvested product may contain bits of stalk that resemble twigs. For Finches, with their strong beaks adapted to break seed shells with ease, this is no issue and with little effort get to the Sunflower Heart inside.
