About this deal

LEGO, the LEGO logo, the Minifigure and the brick and knob configurations are trademarks and/or copyrights of the LEGO Group of companies which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse this site. As Anakin Skywalker's Togruta former apprentice, Ahsoka changes significantly throughout the Clone Wars (and Star Wars Rebels).

One of my favorite childhood memories was staying up late at night, snuggled under my covers watching Star Wars the Clone Wars.Knobs) that first appeared with the LEGO Cars theme back in 2011 are all used to good effect in creating a less-angular shape for the bulbous tank than previous LEGO versions of the AAT.

This latest Ahsoka minifig uses the same piece as both Shaak Ti and the “Fulcrum” Ahsoka from Rebels, with a print that’s different from either of those other minifigures. Shield your LEGO® Star Wars™ Armoured Assault Tank AAT set against being knocked and damaged for peace of mind. crystal clear Perspex® display case, assembled with our uniquely designed screws and connector cubes, allowing you to easily secure the case together.Fans can also command the vehicle in the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga video game for extra creative fun. The irony here is that in fact I quite like it to some degree, as the larger turret and less ellipsoid overall appearance give it its own unique and distinct look, but it just bears zero resemblance to the original vehicles. The driver’s hatch also opens, but this battle droid gets to sit upright, with printed 1×2 cheese slopes providing controls on either side.

Moreover, the old version of the set feels much more imposing and menacing than the new one, which seems a bit cutesy, to be honest. In this final season of The Clone Wars, Ahsoka is accompanied onto the battlefield of the planet Mandalore by members of the 501st clone legion who had painted their helmets in her likeness out of respect. After a bazillion and seventy-nine years of getting the same angry-clone head (with a brief but hopeful period when we got angry but snarky clone head) we (finally! Reddit and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to provide you with a better experience. Because of this, LEGO fans have been excited about the inclusion of a new Ahsoka minifigure alongside a special “Ahsoka Trooper” in 75283 Armored Assault Tank, announced as part of the summer 2020 wave of LEGO Star Wars sets.Though both figures use the same headpiece (made out of that really annoying soft eraser-like plastic that I've messed up more than a few times) the designs on each piece are completely different. Like the 2015 version, the 2020 redesign uses the 6x6x2 arch brick to achieve the curves in the hover-tank’s base. Worse, still, this section is not accessible from the rear because due to the small size of the model they had to use the space for a double-width window frame that acts as the support for the top section. But this 75283: Armored Assault Tank (AAT) set is significantly scaled down from the 2009 version and has fewer figures. If at all, this would qualify as a heavily redesigned next version, a smaller side version or simply a newly constructed vehicle based on the same principles.

Comparing the new tank to the old model from 2009 (8018 Armored Assault Tank) it's clear you got more bang for your buck with old version. But luckily Lego, from time time, issues new exciting sets such as these that span the full breath of the Star Wars lore.
