A limited edition of 1000 were pressed on white vinyl in 2013, when they sold out a further 500 were pressed on black vinyl.

This LP reissue is pressed on 180 Gram black vinyl and features brand new liner notes by Chrissy Boy, Chas Smash and Lee Thompson. A limited edition of 1,000 of these LPs were pressed in 2013, then when they sold out a further 500 were pressed in 2014 on black vinyl, here we have a clear vinyl version. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. While it was panned at the time and flopped commercially, it contains some of Madness’s most interesting and experimental work, featuring the singles ‘I Pronounce You’ and ‘What’s That’. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. Being released for the first time on vinyl (180gram heavyweight) the album includes the singles ‘Lovestruck’ and ‘Johnny The Horse’, as well as the fan favourite ‘Drip Fed Fred’, which features Ian Dury not long before he passed away. VG+ condition, vinyl has a couple of light marks but nothing too notable, sleeve has a word written in biro top left and a date written in biro on the back.

With their most recognized line-up of seven members, they continue to perform and have achieved great success throughout their career. The 103 third parties who use cookies on this service do so for their purposes of displaying and measuring personalized ads, generating audience insights, and developing and improving products. Other artists that contributed tracks included The Jam, The Clash, The Specials, Ian Dury, Peter Gabriel and The Stranglers. The governing principle behind 'Theatre Of the Absurd Presents C'est La Vie', is: 'let Madness be Madness'. The record labels consist of the front sleeve artwork on the first side of each disc, and the relevent track listing on the other side.Very Important: Please note that the Divine double LP has a notch broken out of the edge of each vinyl LP (see photo) so the first track on each side cannot be played.

You will also see pictures of this rare alternate sleeve on the back of the Sweetest Girl sleeves and also on the Mad Not Mad deluxe CD/DVD set. Its not just the record companies in the UK that Madness sign to that make appalling typos, this has to win the prize for the biggest typo ever in that the title of the sleeve itself has been misspelt! Sheena Easton rocketed to overnight fame in 1980 with the BBC broadcast of ‘The Big Time’ – arguably the first pop reality show – subsequently breaking records with her first two singles ‘Modern Girl’ and ‘9 To 5’ simultaneously hitting the UK Top Ten. Artwork for the inner sleeves and gatefold comprises memorabilia from 1980 and was designed by Retro-Madness!

Pink Floyd, Sex Pistols, The Beatles, King Crimson, Rolling Stones, Buzzcocks, The Smiths, Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, Beastie Boys, AC/DC, The Damned, The Mahavishnu Orchestra, Cocteau Twins, Oasis, Paul Weller, David Bowie, The Clash, Blur, ZZ Top, Santana, Frank Zappa, Specials, The Who, Discharge, Wham! This is merely a spare that we have from combining our two collections, once it's gone, it's gone, we do all we can to avoid dealing with unofficial stuff. this was advertised as 180gm vinyl, it most certainly is not 180gm; so please be aware if purchasing on this premise !
