With the addition of a fan for air movement, the maximum casting depth of GlassCast 50 PLUS can be easily increased to 80mm making it the perfect casting resin for the largest projects. In most cases worm casts can be tolerated and brushed off when dry; a minor inconvenience compared to the benefits of soil aeration and nutrient recycling. Cost: Extruded is marginally cheaper and therefore any requirement for a large quantity of sheets/panels, where the benefits of cast acrylic are not important, is likely to be more cost effective produced in Extruded acrylic.

Alternatively you can choose the free collection option and have your own courier collect it from us. But, if the design of your project makes it undesirable to pour two separate layers (for example if you want a swirling pattern running all through the resin) then a single 50mm pour using GlassCast 50 PLUS would almost certainly be preferable. Worms are great for the lawn but in the autumn through to the spring months their casts cause a really big problem on the lawns surface making it muddy, bumpy, wet and uneven. These eggs hatch into small worms similar in appearance to the adults they gradually increase in size as they develop. Cast acrylic has a better ability to be reworked hot and it is known for its superior surface finish and optical properties. For extra security consider using polycarbonate sheeting which is roughly 30 times stronger than acrylic and is also ideal for secondary glazing.
