About this deal

Light My Bricks™ and the Light My Bricks logo, are trademarks and copyrights of Light My Bricks Pty Ltd. Seeing as the Lambda shuttle is still one of the cooler ships in the saga i decided to add it, at least temporarily, to the collection. LEGO, the LEGO logo, the Minifigure, DUPLO, the FRIENDS logo, the MINIFIGURES logo, DREAMZzz, NINJAGO, VIDIYO and MINDSTORMS are trademarks of the LEGO Group.

Just received the 10212, and being home late, I wasn't able to start building yet, and for now can only comment on the box and its contents. Like I mentioned before, try to build the Imperial Shuttle in an open space as you will be working from many different piles of bricks and you don’t want them to get mixed up. There's only one way to display your Imperial Shuttle and that's with a bespoke Wicked Brick® stand. If I were in your position and I had the 'resources' to get it at that time, I would definitely have grabbed one, I wouldn't need to see a review.I think the designer was from Sweden, as the set comes with two IKEA-styled keys which you use to open and close the side stabilizers. Build a LEGO® brick version of the elegant Imperial Shuttle and play out scenes from the classic Star Wars™ trilogy with this action-packed building toy for kids (75302). Includes 5 minifigures: Darth Vader™, Shuttle Pilot, Imperial Officer, Stormtrooper and Luke Skywalker™.If you do not have a USB Power Bank or USB Wall Adaptor, you can purchase them from our Powering section.

The cockpit is able to fit four minifigs so someone has to be left out which happens to be the Stormtrooper. That's Luke (not looking happy), Vader, TK1138, Imperial officer and Imperial shuttle pilot (not a hot blonde this time, a pity really ) It was rather hard to spot who's who, as Luke's head wasn't as recognizible as he was in previous sets. The Ultimate Collector's Series, or UCS, is a LEGO subtheme of Star Wars introduced in 2000 and was meant to be more detailed and aimed at older builders. They do have some swivel, but the mounting location and technique and combination of pieces used prevent them from rotating fully vertical in the landed position. As left and right are built in the exact way, I decided to build them both at the same time, which works perfectly, really. There’s also an opening access hatch, opening centre section with space for more minifigures and 2 cool spring-loaded shooters to fend off any pursuing Imperial starships!

I would totally recommend it to anyone who is a Star Wars fan if you have the money to shell out for it. The Imperial Pilot is in all black, which I think this is the only set that he appears in with this version. Other features of the ship is there are a couple of double laser cannons and double blaster cannon near the front.Having built this design I will admit that it may have been difficult to raise the cockpit or include a boarding ramp, but to be able to have a mini-figure appear to come down the ramp would have really knocked this model out of the park from a displayability perspective. Not quite sure what this extra minifig's purpose is in this set, I think he'll swiftly join his band of brothers for more exiting adventures. I think including this would have been much more desirable had they been able to design a gear box that could operate both wings off of one crank.
