John Wick is an American neo-noir comic book limited series written by Greg Pak and drawn by Giovanni Valletta (issues 1–2) and Matt Gaudio (issues 3–5). Eaton, Don McGregor, Roger McKenzie, Greg Potter, David Roach, Steve Skeates, Carl Wessler Art: Auraleon, Jose Bea, Luis Bermejo, Luis Dominguez, Luis Garcia, Jeffrey Jones, Brian Lewis, Esteban Maroto, Felix Mas, Isidro Mones, Jose Ortiz, Luis Roca, Leopoldo Sanchez, Ramon Torrents . And its critical and commercial success led to two sequels — John Wick: Chapter 2 in 2017 and John Wick: Chapter 3 Parabellum in 2019.

For as much as the John Wick movies feel like live-action comic books (they are probably the closest thing we will ever get to an adaptation of 100 Bullets), the franchise doesn't seem to translate well to the page. With Parabellum rounding out the films into a trilogy, Keanu Reeves' titular assassin has now become a full-blown franchise. It also doesn't help that, the story doesn't take any effort to really flesh out John's past, beyond 'an orphan trained by some mysterious organization'.Located in an undisclosed location in upstate New York, the real-life house where John's home scenes were filmed in many ways perfectly encapsulates the minimalism of the John Wick franchise. He wrote the "Code Monkey Save World" graphic novel and "The Princess Who Saved Herself" children's book, based on the songs of Jonathan Coulton. He has a large tattoo on his back with a Latin phrase written across praying hands holding a cross that reads, Fortis Fortuna Adiuvat. Upon release, he was manipulated into joining the underground crime world operating out of the Continental Hotel chain.
