Dairy Fine Mini Eggs Chunky Bar - 225g (a great alternative to the Cadbury's Mini Eggs Bar which is now a 'may contain' for gluten) Ahead of Easter Sunday (April 9, 2023) I've got a long list of gluten free, coeliac-safe Easter eggs in UK supermarkets right now. These tasty treats are perfect for the kids to make for homemade Easter gifts, or you could pop them in an Easter basket, give them out as prizes after a fun Easter egg hunt or serve them up at any time over the Easter period for a yummy dessert or treat!

These Easter giant chocolate buttons are perfect for Easter gifts, desserts and treats, and a great idea for using up leftover Easter chocolate too! I've swept the supermarket shelves of Asda, Co-Op, Morrisons, Sainsbury's, Tesco and Waitrose to find all the Easter eggs which are gluten free. Divide the chocolate between the silicone muffin cases, dropping a spoonful of each (white and milk) into each case.Don’t worry if it gets up the sides, any messy bits can be broken off once the chocolate has set! Most plain chocolate eggs are free from gluten but sadly some have 'may contain' warnings which mean they are not coeliac-safe. Important note: In 2022 the Mini Eggs Bar was gluten free, but now (2023) it has a 'may contain' warning and is NOT suitable for people with coeliac disease)

Have you found any other gluten free Easter eggs or noticed any changes to this list since it was published? Needing no introduction, our iconic Creme Eggs are an Easter staple no springtime holiday is complete without! Explore classic filled Creme Eggs paired with the scrumptious taste of Dairy Milk Add maltesers mini bunnies to half of the buttons, gently pressing the base of each one down so that it rests in the chocolate. If you're not avoiding dairy, many 'normal' Easter eggs are free from gluten-containing ingredients anyway.

Also, Easter eggs sometimes feature other bits and bobs such as biscuit or wafer pieces which will contain gluten. This list is by no means exhaustive but contains most of the major supermarket and named brands I could find on the shelves. Melt the white chocolate in the microwave in 30 second bursts, stirring between each one to ensure it melts evenly. Be careful not to overheat or burn the chocolate, heat only until just melted and smooth. Once melted, repeat with the milk chocolate.Looking for an easy Easter recipe to make with the kids? They don’t get much easier than these cute Easter themed giant chocolate buttons! Break up the white chocolate and place it in a microwave safe bowl, then repeat with the milk chocolate in a separate bowl. You can never assume anything is safe but this Easter egg guide should help you navigate the best choices for gluten free. How to use my gluten free Easter eggs guide

Aldi's free from Easter eggs Gluten Free Easter EggsEven the littlest of chefs can help to make these yummy chocolate treats, they'll enjoy spooning in the chocolate, scattering over the sprinkles, decorating with the eggs and bunnies and helping to pop the buttons out of their cases once ready.
