So in this version, one person plays as Pac-Man while your mates take control of the ghosts that are trying to eat him. I'm honestly surprised that neither Star Fox game for the GameCube made it onto the list. Sorry for the length of the comment, BTW. Although the game did not sell well during the launch period, it won IGN's Best Story award in 2003 for the GameCube version as well as many other awards and nominations for the character, story, audio, and design across multiple platforms. It was not only available on GameCube, but also on PlayStation 2, Windows, and Xbox. A remaster of the game has been done on other systems. Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network both saw HD versions of it in 2011, but no HD remasters have been released for Nintendo. Star Wars: Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast takes the 5th spot in this list of the best Gamecube games on Switch!

Warning: if you paused the game to access the configuration menu, the changes will apply to the ongoing game. However, if you change the cube’s size, your current game will be lost. Other games:I was disappointed with the Gamecube at the time and still enjoyed playing my n64 so missed out on quite a few games but my top ten list is; Though I did with they did not allow collections in the voting so we could get more games like the above on the list that were developed for the system. Everything about Splashy Cube screams mobile gameplay with its touchscreen control scheme, bite-sized levels, and the barebones UI. The game originally came out on iOS as Splashy Cube: Color Run in 2018. The responsiveness, fast-paced gameplay, and “just one more try” persistence the game cultivates is perfect for the hybrid Switch console. Just Move Forward It's a crying shame that we haven't seen an official TimeSplitters remake or reboot yet (though we do know a new TimeSplitters is in the works). The TimeSplitters series mashed together madcap British humor (the good kind) with an obscene amount of pop culture references – and TimeSplitters 2 is the best entry of the three. Very happy both Baten Kaitos games made the list, though! I personally preferred Origins but the first game was wondeful too. I really hope the seires gets a reboot at some point in the future.

Wario is best known for his mini game collections now, but he still has one great 3D platformer under his belt. In a lot of ways, Wario World is very similar to Super Mario 64and Super Mario Sunshine, but with deeper combat. It makes sense. Wario is a villain after all. Sadly, Nintendo has never sought to expand on Wario’s 3D adventures, and with copies of Wario World scarce, it would be a perfect Virtual Console game for the Switch. 17. Pikmin 2 Baten Kaitos Eternal Wings and the lost ocean is the best gamecube game for me. And then Paper Mario Thousand year door would be my second choice. It’s time for another Mega Man collection, this time an Anniversary edition celebrating the blue-wonder’s achievements. Armed with only the information of a covert name (you guessed it; ‘XIII’), gamers must discover their place in a confusing world all while trying to kill people that are trying to kill them.Pretty good list, I remember saving up money just for Soul Caliber 2 on GC just to play as link, My top will always be SSBM though tbh since I spent years playing that game even after the GCN wasn't a new console anymore My favorite GCN game by a wide margin is Animal Crossing. Animal Crossing was the first game of its type I played and it was just perfect for me, who didn't always want action, but also wanted room to be creative and focus on characters' lives and the like. As a series, Final Fantasy doesn’t need an introduction. We know all about the mammoth storylines, cool characters, turn-based battles, and bosses bigger than mountains.

I can't avoid to wonder if it didn't make in the top 50 cause of how unknow it is or if this is just proof that the GameCube simply had way too many good games for some hidden gems to shine. So, if you’ve never played Crystal Chronicles, you’ll be happy to know that it’s no different! It’s got all of the character levelling up and collectible action that you could ever wish for, and the HD remake looks amazing too! Players control retired Jedi Kyle Katarn (I know, I didn’t even know you could retire from being a Jedi!), a fighter who is scared that the dark side of the force might awaken in him. It’s set after the original and best trilogy, which means famous faces from the movies are likely to crop up from time to time. Yuji Naka is best known as the creator of Sonic the Hedgehog, but in the early 2000s, he took a break from cranking out Sonic games to work on a very different type of platformer. Billy Hatcher has virtually nothing in common with Naka’s better known creation. Rather than speed, he relies on rolling eggs around huge colorful levels to power up and accomplish his goals. The game has a few hiccups, like a poor camera, but there’s still nothing quite like it out there, and it could finally find its audience on the Switch Virtual Console. 23. Harvest Moon: A Wonderful LifeI can’t say enough good things about Resident Evil 4. With a camera angle moving to over the shoulder to get you pumped for Zombie slaying action and a move away from the traditional setting to a new, creepier location, this game really stepped it up a notch! Excellent list. My favorite console to this day, and massively underrated. I can't imagine anyone looking at this list and not appreciating the wealth of titles exclusive to the console. Reading through this list, I said to myself "great game" to every entry. It's astounding. Probably the least appreciated title, especially because it's multiplatform, is Burnout 2. It remains the best racing game to this day. Most people didn't catch onto Burnout until Revenge, and to a lesser extent Takedown. Both are excellent. But they're all missing out on perfection. If you haven't played Point of Impact, you will be amazed if you get the chance. The game I feel is missing from this list is 007: Nightfire. It almost matches the brilliance of Goldeneye. And yeah, no Custom Robo? No Star Fox Adventures OR Assault? No Final Fantasy: The Crystal Chronicles? Boo. The cube planet is an expansive world featuring a wide array of brutalist architecture that ranges from foggy nightmarish abysses, to oppressive lava lit factories, to uplifting natural landscapes full of golden rays of sunshine glistening against mountains. There’s a new surprise around every corner! FullMetalWesker Nintendo owns it completely; SK made it for them, and they've been habitually renewing the trademark for years. Alex is a Spirit in Smash Ultimate for a reason.
