About this deal

Studiocare Professional Audio Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, registration number 778381. connections: With one "blue" USB on a PC, playback dropped randomly to zero after stopping recording or closing an application (without any visual indication of this). The Audient iD4 has been released for over a year now, but it’s still a leading budget interface on the market. Yes there are a couple of features I’d love to add on top, but I’m nitpicking there and taking into account the amount you get for your money, this interface really is fantastic value!

The Audient ID4 MkII is a compact 2-in 2-out usb audio interface with the superb Audient's console mic pre, excellent AD/DA Converters and zero -latency monitoring. Featuring an Audient Console mic pre, class-leading converters, dual headphone outputs and a JFET Instrument Input, iD4 gives you everything you need to create studio quality recordings at home. When using the Audient with my laptop, and 48v phantom power active, the battery of my Lenovo is being consumed about twice as fast compared to no Audient connected. The iD4 MkII is a brilliant interface for a singer with a guitar but lacks a bit of versatility once you try to move beyond that as you can’t record a stereo line signal.Back then our aim was straightforward - provide technology products and services to the education, music, television and film markets. Alone, said iD button activates the encoder mode so you can use the main knob to adjust DAW plugin parameters.

Achieve sublime recording precision with the Audient iD4 MKII, a 2 Channel USB Audio Interface that offers an innovative approach to production in home studios with a limited round of space. The Audio ID4 MkII combines form and function with two headphone outputs powered by a Class-AB headphone amp and a volume encoder with iD ScrollControl virtual scroll wheel which lets you control DAW hosts, plug-in parameters and even navigate through the iTunes library. You’ll find it also works well for synths, but essentially, this is a one‑person interface for one mic and one guitar. The bumpy lumpiness that feels good when using it as a volume control feels less so when controlling knobs.

The iD14 MkII does have a separate hardware level control over the headphones, whereas the iD4 MkII shares its headphone level control with the main output.Hands-On Design: Including a Scroll control that offers a more hands-on approach to the manipulation of volume, automation and processing, producers and artists alike can achieve the exact tone they need with minimal hassle. Sound designer, voice actor, musician and beyond who just has a big passion for conversations, knowledge sharing, connecting people and bringing some positivity into the world. Latency-Free Performance: For those looking for impressive results from first use, the iD4 MKII provides this with a latency-free functionality no matter how many virtual instruments and plugins are added to your session. You receive the Audient iD4 and the first thing you’ll probably notice is how compact and light the interface is.

What I'd like to mention is that the volume knob is significantly less robust compared to all others. No need to find a power outlet as iD4 is powered directly from your computer via USB, without compromising on sound quality or performance. iD4’s Audio Loop-back feature can be configured via its own dedicated Audio Loop-back Mixer software, enabling you to combine audio sources and quickly route them between software. PC, I got it to work only after going through all Windows trouble shooting menus a couple of times, and then after the next restart of the computer the Audient just stopped working entirely - would have required a new install, it seemed.Plug the USB hub into the USB port on the Camera Adapter kit, and connect the kit to your iOS device (to charge the iOS device, you can plug a charging cable into a port on the USB hub and camera kit as well). We’re also running a Patreon campaign to make sure we can keep bringing you regular, high quality content if you’re feeling generous!
