This actually comes at a time when I am writing an essay on behaviour management and dealing with similar situations and behaviours in a class of year 6s and it truly added another dimension to the whole thing. Thank you to the lovely staff and year 7 and 8 pupils of Thomas Mills High for welcoming me into their school in Framlingham last week. I thoroughly enjoyed this book about Maxwell, a boy who is a consistent troublemaker and seeks to make others miserable. At first, being able to walk around without being yelled at is great, but Maxwell starts to miss his old life. The only safety net he has is an elderly neighbour, Reg, who suffers from memory loss (I won't say much more in case of spoilers).They are putting post it notes on the food they want to eat showing their lack of care and concern for each other which trickles down to the kids.
