That reel is what we class here as a spinning reel more as short travel deep spool which is strong but not a 150 plus yard reel where as here we want what we class/call a surf casting reel which is a longer&shallower spool that has longer travel for line lay

Hi i already know about Alan Hawk been/read etc his forum posts on many reels only one issue is he only does the spinning reel types not the surf casting or multipliers as his are more for jigging and popping which in the UK and indeed Denmark just seem to be rather absent of fish to use a big lure on!
