ETUDE - Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream | YesStyle

For the same reasons they are popularly used, they are also commonly avoided. Anecdotally, many individuals have reported that Silicones cause/excerbate breakouts, irritation, cause a feeling of skin being unable to breathe, cause clumping of cosmetic products and find it difficult to wash off. As a result, those who find them problematic are avoiding them and increasingly, cosmetic companies are avoiding them as well. My skin is also crazy sensitive (aren’t you jealous of me?), so not only do I dislike that residue but if the the moisturizer doesn’t agree with my skin, I end up stinging, red and all around irritated. That’s why when I heard about the Etude House SoonJung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream, I had to try it since it claims to be good for all skin types, but especially dry, sensitive skin. If you've ever used a skincare, makeup or beauty product that's made your skin look and feel smoother tempoarily - it's likely contained Silicone. They are a popular class of ingredients found in cosmetics due to their smooth, soft, easy-to-spread and smooth properties that help creates an artificial layer/barrier on top of skin or hair (commonly found in conditioners). The Etude House Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream is an intensely hydrating cream formulated with panthenol, madecassoside, sunflower seed oil, and shea butter. This combination effectively moisturises and restores the oil-water balance of the skin while repairing skin damage simultaneously. The Silicone-free label only includes the most common Silicone ingredients that have indentified been reported by individuals that could potentially cause issues. Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter: Moisturizer + Anti-aging (Vitamin A) +Anti-fungal + Anti-inflammatory + Wound healing (Boosts collagen production and promotes cell regeneration)

REVIEW] Etude House Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream [REVIEW] Etude House Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream

Important* - Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream 60mL is actually the NAME of the product. It is not to signify that you get two of this product as a set per the price listed. If you have oily skin, I would suggest trying the Tatcha Water Cream that’s water-based and more lightweight ( review here). Is Soon Jung barrier cream good? Glycerine: Widely used as a quality Hydrator (occurs naturally in skin and its chemical structure attracts water). You can find this ingredient in most good skin-replenishing products. If not, don't worry about it - they do have had one of the longest safety records as preservatives! I’ve been using this moisturizer for quite a while now and can officially say I’ve fallen in love. From the minimal ingredient list, to the hydrating, film-free finish, this moisturizer has become my new go-to. I actually use chemical exfoliators on a regular basis so my skin can become reactive quite often, which can leave my face stinging from a majority of moisturizers, but the Etude House SoonJung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream never does this.Delivery timescales are estimated and could be affected if your parcel is very heavy or delayed by Customs entry procedures. I haven’t personally seen much of a difference, but that is expected as there aren’t any ingredients that specifically work to brighten or exfoliate the skin. They mostly have very good moisturizing properties and work a bit as anti-aging agents since moisturized skin is happy skin (dryness contributes to the aging process). My point here is that if your skin is doing relatively okay, the Etude House Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream moisturizer won’t do much other than.. well.. moisturize. Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil (Sunflower): Emollient (Softens and soothes and acts as a moisturizer) + Hydration (Fatty Acids) + Anti-inflammatory ( Linoleic acid) The Soon Jung 2x Barrier Cream is one of the best go-to moisturizers I’ve ever tried (I have combo skin). It’s got a simple, clean ingredient list and is not irritating or comedogenic. How to use: Star Ingredients - Panthenol (form of Vitamin B5 that moisturises, anti-inflammatory, repairs), Green Tea Leaf Extract (antimicrobial, antioxidant, hydrating, anti-inflammation), Sunflower Seed Oil (rich in antioxidants, soothing, unclogs pores, evens skin tone)
