Have not been able to test it since they didnt have a tester yet but the bottle is blue like some have said already. Never smelled 16 aqua but just received 18 edition salty sweet sea breeze definitely like being near the ocean we’ll worth it. While clearly aquatic, Invictus Aqua holds hints of past great violet fragrances, but seen through an aquatic oceanic aesthetic. Invictus Aqua(2018) is very similar to Invictus Aqua(2016) and yes,Invictus Aqua (2018) is a bit softer,more tamed, less intense,less synthetic,fresher,cleaner,less sweet and tend to fade faster than the original.

That being said, the 2016 version is still one of my very favorites, so I will keep wearing that one.A violet leaf note and fruity gamma seems to also replace the bay leaf accord in the heart, but the jasmine hedione and fruity/woody ionone notes set the transition to the base apart from the original with its more aromatic character. One of my favorites but use it on special occasions now that is discontinued and it's harder to find online. To find such statements on a site about fragrances and to think that somehow sweet scents makes you less masculine really shows your brain processing power - when in fact sweet fragrances are the ones I get complimented BY WOMEN the most on.

Most of these people's reviews I ignore cause they sound crazy,how could this scent be worse than the 2016 version if it smells less synthetic and last just as long and smells almost the same? I actually gotta say that this guy "Yish" is either a Mind-Reader or maybe we are like cousins or something?hours, minimum, but there have been times that 24 hours have passed and I can still clearly detect the cologne without sniffing at my skin.

The new releases Invictus Aqua and Olympéa Aqua are out in early 2016, further emphasizing the aquatic character of these compositions. The strongest of these are the sea notes, keeping that fresh, watery feeling, followed by the violet giving it a powdery floral note and the ambergris giving it a warm, musky, and oceanic/salty note. For me, it's very difficult to find a fragrance that works on my skin to begin with, since I have a very dry skin.
