I loved that I knew that the book was progressing into something other than nonsense. I am also glad that there was more focus on the relationship rather than sex or otherwise. The one thing that made me pause was the beginning. I mean I understand why Minato was angry and wanted revenge....but come on the guy was drunk. You should never trust a drunk guy even if it's the most truthful drunk person. So I found the beginning kinda of silly. If it was something more serious maybe it would have been believable. Therapy Game is quite unique. I'm not just saying this out of bias, but because in my experience reading BL, it is one of the best stories I've read so far of this genre. I've read fantastic stories and other extremely toxic ones, and I must say in my personal opinion that Minato and Shizuma's story is unique. I just absolutely love Shizuma and Minato as a couple. They balance each other out so well. I love how supportive Shizuma is of Minato and that he is not afraid to tell someone that they are lovers. I think that's what makes this story so amazing. Also I just love how real Minato is. His insecurities are real and I am glad that Hinohara plays on that in this manga. No relationship is perfect and we definitely see that. Also we also see that Shizuma is not perfect, that he tends to rush into relationships and do things without the others complete approval. But they both always come from a good place when making decisions.

While the plot that brings Minato and Shizuma together isn't very innovative the way the story is told and how their feelings and the relationships are handled make the difference. And I really enjoy that. Shizuna is calm, intelligent and he lives for his work, so Minato, a person with loose morals wasn't very sympathetic to him.
