As the successor to the DacMagic Plus, the DacMagic 200 offers even better converter chips, extensive connectivity, and support for high-resolution formats up to 32-bit/768 kHz and DSD512. The DacMagic 200M is also the first Cambridge Audio product to support MQA. Following the integration of Tidal and Qobuz, Cambridge Audio's network players CXN (V2) and Edge NQ now also support Roon's "RAAT" protocol. Up front the AXR100 is quietly handsome: I liked the look of its mouse-gray brushed-aluminum fascia a lot, and the single volume knob and multiple pushbutton controls all have a solid, high- quality feel. Hookup in my system required little more effort than connecting my loudspeakers, Energy Veritas 2.2i's, whose uh, mature (long discontinued) but still very capable design yields low enough sensitivity to get even a 100-watt amplifier like the Cambridge to break a modest sweat. Making both analog and coaxial digital audio feeds from my Oppo Digital disc and streaming source and digging out an FM dipole antenna from the odds'n'ends drawer completed the setup. (I did not bother with AM radio since there's so much amplitude-modulated hash in my environment—and also likely in yours—that any results wouldn't mean much.)

Cambridge Audio's new Edge M mono power amplifiers have high power reserves and are fully balanced from input to output. They also use the unique Class XA amplification technology. Now with digital radio, the Cambridge Audio AXR100D provides all the features you need from a stereo receiver. With sound quality to match. The two new network players "MXN10" and "AXN10" are said to offer the technology of larger Cambridge streamers at a lower price and in a compact shape. Auralic's G2 models Aries, Vega and Sirius are now available in the upgraded G2.1 version. The LEO GX has also been overhauled and is now called GX.1. As well as being more powerful than the smaller AXR85 model, the AXR100D also features a built-in DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor) for connection to your digital sources. Twin optical and a coaxial digital input are perfect for hooking up your TV, games console, DVD/Blu-ray player or any other device with a digital output. Connecting digitally means you can take advantage of the latest digital technology built into the AXR100D, for the best sound possible. Already a great all-rounder, the AXR100D stereo receiver now features a built-in DAB, digital radio. This gives you access to a wider range of radio stations, such as BBC 4 Extra, 6 Music and 1 Xtra – without requiring any Internet connection for streaming. Digital sound also gives a hiss-free, reliable reception. An FM tuner is on board for analogue radio, too.

Cambridge Audio presents the Alva TT V2, the successor to the popular Alva TT turntable, and additionally expands its analog range with a smaller model – the Alva ST. It also has three digital inputs in the shape of two optical and one coaxial, while the DAB+/FM tuner offers 40 presets for each. Bluetooth 5 is on board for wireless streaming from a smartphone, tablet or PC and it can be fine tuned thanks to bass and treble controls. Update of the CX series: the new integrated amplifier Cambridge CXA61 (900 Euro) is now additionally equipped with a USB-B port for the PC and an integrated Bluetooth receiver with aptX HD.

A free update implements the Tidal Connect feature onto the Cambridge Audio devices Edge NQ, Azur 851N, CXN, CXN (V2), StreamMagic 6 (V2), CXR120 and CXR200. Prices valid in stores (all including VAT) until close of business on 28th November 2023.
